Dremel
Hey guys, just recently found a dremel 300 rotary power tool kit for $30 (corded)
ebay page> http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/170773382...84.m1426.l2649
Dremel 300 Series
55 high quality Dremel accessories in Mini Accessory Case
Dremel high quality Flexible Shaft
Convenient and elegant storage case"
Is this a good deal? I'm only asking as I wanted to get a dremel to make sanding and cutting easier for me

Re: Dremel
Okay, i'll bid on it then :) wish me luck :D

Re: Dremel
This is the one I have...great product man. The flex shaft has been a life saver on several occasions
-
Re: Dremel
Exactly the same one I have, and mine was around FOUR times that price. It's the best rotary tool I've ever had, and I would suggest to buy it if you can.
-
i dont think you could ever go wrong with a dremel, especially at that price! ive used an old corded one for the longest time, and it still works perfectly to this day. add to cart!

Re: Dremel
I really hope I win, it's a bid so I'm afraid I COULD lose it if anyone else tries to get it

Re: Dremel
Okay, i've been outbid on the dremel- should I just buy this one? (doesn't have flexi shaft)

Re: Dremel
Too expensive I think. I bought mine without flexi shaft, but with a semirigid hard case, two years ago, for that price. I'm sure you could find it cheaper at any local store, anyway look for these two:
Dremel Hobby 300 Series Tool - Item #230732856363 (76+7.5 AU$)
Dremel 300 Series Bare Rotary Power Tool - Item #400017527303 (54 + 33 AU$)

Re: Dremel
Also, in Amazon.com, they are worth a look too.

Re: Dremel
Thanks KaanE- I'll take a look now :)
EDIT:
the first one you suggested is actually a few dollars more than the one I picked out, and is for only the dremel
The second one is cheaper, although it doesn't come with any extra tools- just the dremel
I'm looking on amazon now like you suggested :)
EDIT #2:
Okay, looked on amazon and I found this> http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER
It'll cost me $86.38 AU shipped
EDIT #3: Perhaps it's best if I buy from an australian seller- don't want to risk getting an american powerplug

Re: Dremel
You could also pick up a dremel tool and purchase the flex shaft separately!
I've seen the flex shafts (real dremel brand, not the knock-offs) on ebay for around $20

Then you can get any of the corded dremels!
SUGGESTION... If you are purchasing off of ebay and getting a used one I would suggest getting a new set of motor brushes!

Re: Dremel
I love my Dremel! I got it second hand, it's not as powerful as any of those, and it still gets the job done!

Re: Dremel
I have a Black and Decker I bout in 2006 that still serves me well and I didn't pay more than $30. It accepts Dremel bits as well. Just make sure whatever you get is corded so you always have power.
