After finishing a paint job on a helmet, what is the best NON shiny clear coat? Just for the purpose of sealing in the details and not letting them get damaged.
I use Testors Dull coat exclusivly.

thanks for the tip on the clear coat. Where do you usually find this? Any place other than a model shop?
I have seen it at Walmart and Kmart, but that is hit and mis and seems to go out the most.
A hobby shop is the best place.
What would be best to use a flat coat or a satin coat? I have used both before but just curious what is more "correct"?
i second testors dull coat.i used it for the first time on my right gaunt and i was impressed.
