After finishing a paint job on a helmet, what is the best NON shiny clear coat? Just for the purpose of sealing in the details and not letting them get damaged.

thanks for the tip on the clear coat. Where do you usually find this? Any place other than a model shop?

I have seen it at Walmart and Kmart, but that is hit and mis and seems to go out the most.
A hobby shop is the best place.

What would be best to use a flat coat or a satin coat? I have used both before but just curious what is more "correct"?
