Bought an air brush,

Very nice. Iwata's are SLIGHTLY better, but a heckuva lot more pricvy. But if you have a mother that can't stand noise... the extra $ is worth it. Nice!

Ya I know, if it's past 8:30 p.m. my mom won't let me use any thing loud.:angry

Ooh I almost forgot, I just tested it with my air-brush and the brush paints AMAZING!!

The only thing is, I'm only doing a little project. I need to paint the red stripe on my shin tools. Other than that, I have a millennium falcon model that I was considering finishing. I really don't want to break out the Benjamins for what I plan to do.

why not use a rattle can and some masking tape?

in my experience, airbrushes aren't something you want to skimp on. there's a world of difference between a good one and a not so good one.

If the falcon is the AMT offering, take your time. the thing is a PAIN to fit together. But, looks very nice when done. Finemolds's falcon is better... if you have $200 to shell out...
