Bondo products, I have some questions about the differences and usage.

Besides my "Dented Helmet", I have other helmets for fun including a Mandalorian Supercommando helmet. It is in need of some repairs, and I was wondering who has used Bondo before? I am interested in using Bondo Fiberglass Mat, Cloth, and/or Cloth Tape to make some repairs to this helmet. I know the Mat is thicker than the Cloth, but the cloth looks stronger. So I am not sure which to use?

I am also worried about using them over the details. Anyone know if they will cover up the details or make them more noticeable?

The helmet is already a little tight, if I did that, I would not be able to wear it.
