Hello everyone,
I'm working on building a custom ARC Trooper armor set and need some advice on how to attach armor pieces. As of now I plan to use velcro....is there any other better material for doing this?
Thanks,
Scarecrow

Among us stormtroopers something that has proven reliable is snaptabs and elastic strap between those. Just take a square piece of scrap plastic, drill a hole through the center, add the male snap to that piece. Glue it inside the armour (the plastic plate provides more surface area for the glue to bond on). Then put the female part of the snap on the elastic strap. Repeat throughout all your armour.
Thanks. Do you know where the cheapest place to get those is?

Many americans get the snaps from tandy leather. But since I don't know where you live, it's hard to recommend something. Elastic can be bought from any hobby or sewing store. Probably the snaps too.
I guess there's always ebay too.
Ok....thank you. I will start with ebay. Will probably be cheapest there anyway.
