aluminum vs. sintra

hey guys. im going to start on my first set of armor fairly soon, and i was just wondering what the pro's and con's are for each material type for the armor. im looking at either aluminum sheet metal or sintra.
thoughts, opinions?

thanks

Go for sintra. Unless you know what to do with aluminum sheeting, you will probably not be able to work with it. It can cut you with jagged edges, it is also a lot harder to cut.

Sintra is easy to cut and you can easily work with it. No ball and hammer involved here.

2'x4' would be enough, but I'd recommend getting 4'x4' since this is your first go at it. Might need extra material.

Go for 3mm or 1/8".

I decided on this as the main color scheme for my armor. what do you think? i also think i might just go with the trashcan for the material. thoughts?

all right so i have all the stencils/templates cut out of cardboard, which i then bent into the right shapes and curves. When i get the sintra, should i cut out the pieces and lay them over the cardboard to shape them? suggestions?
