Howdy fellow fetts,

I have started my EE3 build, thanks to jedicharly for his excellent 3d renders, I had to make a lot of alterations to enable me to build the EE3 and obviously print it, Screen Shot 2014-07-16 at 3.17.22 PM.png

Got a little bit further everything is printed and looking fairly OK!, SO.........gonna have this as the prototype and reprint all the pieces and sand, smooth and paint them all individually lIMG_2333.jpg IMG_2334.jpg IMG_2335.jpg IMG_2336.jpg

I think in the region of $275 plus postage, it uses a lot of materials and very time consuming, also i thinks it about 20 odd pieces on the plus side its only the large pieces that need attaching with adhesive the rest screws together like the real thing, its all solid no hollow pieces so gives a good trooping weight

Hey amigos!,

Ok got a couple of bit printed on high res so sanded to uber smooth, then primed, silver base, black, then weathered, trying to achieve the look in the gallery but very difficult!
IMG_2354.jpgIMG_2356.jpgIMG_2357.jpgIMG_2360.jpg so that piece is complete just needs a lacquer then on to the next IMG_2361.JPG

Thats great Danzo I really don't like letting people down, but I got so much on the go, the ESB Sidearm, ESB EE3 starting soon, ROTJ EE3 I'm doing now and so much more my CNC miller comes soon so I will be making aluminum parts also,

Cheers for the comments ma man

Damn, I'd love to see your ESB EE3! Hell, if it comes out just as good I might have to bite the bullet and get both the EE3 and Sidearm from you all the way across the pound!
