Doopydoo makes a great resin kit. Get the "full resin kit", not the hasbro convertion. All you need to get elsewhere is the scope rail.
Go check out MEPD or whitearmor too... There are several for sale now.
Look for the Hyperfirm posts - they offer E-11s and DLT-19s (MG-34). If your friend is feeling REALLY froggy, he can go for one of the T-21s (Lewis Guns)... I think they're even selling an MG-15. Mucho $$$, but mucho awesome.
FS: HyperFirm ANH E-11 (2 in hand ready to ship) - For Sale or Trade - Personal Items - First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment
FS: HyperFirm DLT-19 (5x available) - For Sale or Trade - Personal Items - First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment
FS: HyperFirm T21 (last 2 in hand, mold destroyed) - For Sale or Trade - Personal Items - First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment
Hyperfirm are nice blasters. Great for trooping. But not as detailed as a doopydoo, and nearly impossible to get shipped to the UK without a re-shipping service.
Yeah, my friend has noticed this. His only options now are the doopydoos full resin or the Hasbro conversion.
Go with the full resin version. It is _much_ nicer than a hasbro conversion.
I was about to say. Just need to sort out where to get the rail or how to make it. Do you have one spare?![]()
Sorry, I don't. I don't even have one myself. But I have seen one up close and know it's good stuff.
I would suggest this sales thread if you can't make the rail yourself. FS: Aluminum Scope Rails for E-11 Blasters - Ongoing Sales & Project Orders - First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment
Legend! When it comes to other forums I am clueless! :P
No problem.![]()
