SOLD Finished ESB EE-3, HyperFirm-style READY TO TROOP

    SOLD

    Fettists -

Offering up this fully finished/weathered/ready-to-troop ESB EE-3 with proper greeblies, flash tube muzzle (Heiland), and real scope w/correct scope rings. It's a beauty... but think of it as a visually accurate workhorse, as opposed to a pristine museum piece.

The body is HyperFirm-like material (dense foam rubber) - I cannot say for sure if it is one of HyperFirm's earlier castings or not, as I'm not the original owner. When I first received it, there was a small crack in the material where the stock joined the grip bracket. However, it has been lovingly repaired to like-new status (with gap-filler CA) by TDH's own Darth Voorhees.

In fact, Lou (DVH) did the final touch-up/detailing, and most of you are familiar with Lou's level of quality workmanship and dedication. Perhaps he'll weigh in on the record about it here.

$500 shipped CONUS. International shipping considered, but I cannot/will not be responsible for Customs at either end...

I will also consider an Ever Ready 6051 Mini Light in partial trade.

PM for more info or with interest.

    Happy holiday hunting!

    - Andy

P.S. Not sure why the pics are all dorked up... :/

Re: Finished ESB EE-3, HyperFirm-style READY TO TROOP

I didnt know you made rubber ESB's SR!

This one was purchased off of e-bay i believe and the previous owner didnt know who made it. The stock greeblies that were on it were not accurate...they are now though, theres a set of your center greeblies on there and a set of my AM plugs..or they may be SW's i cant remember. Like any said the rings and scope are real authentic pieces.

Its a really nice blaster..has some reinforcement in the d-bracket. I dont have any pics, but im sure Andy will post em soon

I only did a couple. They take a long time to cure. And are rough on the mold.

Holy shmokes!!! Could this be a SR rubber ESB EE-3???

I may have to pull down the sale on account of rarity and museum-worthiness.

Wow SR - I didn't think to check with you...

Lou did such a great job on it too.

Hahaha. Whatever. I did about 4.special order kits. Takes two or three pulls for each piece. Rubber is thick and has lots of bubbles. But it would have had rubber barrel. Hard mounts. The barrel would have no seam. I do them occasionally towards the end of runs.

    For 500. I'd sell it

Re: Finished ESB EE-3, HyperFirm-style READY TO TROOP

Whats the serial no? But I don't think its mine judging by the barrel seam, the rest looks close. Def my center greebles.

Re: Finished ESB EE-3, HyperFirm-style READY TO TROOP

yea i put the greeblies on it SR, the center ones are 100% yours. The ones it came with were also rubber and just a square, and the AM plugs were the big inaccurate ones. The barrel mounts are thinner than the ones you do also. The barrel isnt hollow either, well at least not all the way through. There was only about 2" to put the flash tube.

All that said, still a nice blaster for sure!

Re: Finished ESB EE-3, HyperFirm-style READY TO TROOP

Super tempted since my SR EE3 has been shattered three times (Once by Jeremy Bullock and Dickie Beer) and in need of being retired. Having a Hyperfirm type gun would be a huge plus for me...

Re: Finished ESB EE-3, HyperFirm-style READY TO TROOP

Wow really Gymbeau? What broke when it was dropped if I might ask?

Re: Finished ESB EE-3, HyperFirm-style READY TO TROOP

Well the "D" bracket connecting the stock to the barrel of course broke in half, but also the sides of the breach shattered into about 12 pieces. The scope rings shattered almost to the point of no return. In fact there are missing pieces on mine now since some chunks were too small to glue. I Frankenstein'ed it and glued it each time it shattered, but yeah...it was like glass when it hit the ground LOL.
