    Replica US Divers belt buckle:permanent run

    I'm now offering these buckles out to everyone.
    Before they were only available as an option on the BFUK jetpack, and the Mojo Fett/BFUK metal harness rig!!!

    The buckles are laser cut and etched (with U.S. DIVERS Co lettering) from stainless steel, polished on the inside, folded then polished on the outside.

    Price is; $25 shipped worldwide
    15 euro shipped in EU
    £12.50 shipped in UK

    I make the buckles myself, so I can keep the cost low and pass that on to everyone at TDH.

    Please note the buckles are made from 304L stainless steel so are not suitable for the marine enviroment. So don't go scuba diving with them and then complain to me if they tarnish ...LOL.
    Also the polishing does not always remove minor scratches and blemishes, not normally a problem for that weathered Fett look, but if you do need a perfect one let me know!!!!

    OK I've been asked about weathering these buckles as they look too good.
    I've weathered one today,pictures will follow. I need to photo them in natural light as the flash just bounces everywhere.

    To do this you will need,1)handfull of screws/nails or hard sharp stones.
    2)small box or bag
    3)small hammer
    4)road/pavement or driveway
    5)oven cleaner or similar(the kind that says DO NOT USE ON STAINLESS STEEL)

    First put the screws in the box with the buckle and shake.
    Then use the hammer to make GLANCING blows across the buckle.
    Place buckle on the road and give it a kick along the ground.
    Cover buckle with oven cleaner,leave for 10 min,and wash.Don't worry about it harming the stainless steel all that will happen is the stainless will dull down,most people like to keep there stinless ovens shiny.

    Buckle weathering DONE!!

    These are very accurate, I have to look twice to be sure when shipping them out so as not to send out my real one, without putting it on the scales, in your hand these feel the same weight and thickness. If i had got one of these before my original it would be very hard to justify spending the money on upgrading it.

    Great tips on weathering too FMF.

    Just to update everyone that I still make the buckles,I say permanent run yet I still get asked if I still make them...LOL

    Got a update to add in that I now have the Supertrooper/PP1 version of the divers buckle. I promise to get some pics up real soon.
    For those who don't know this version has a squared off end to the pull tab,and comes in a flat/dull finnish rather than polished.
