Discussion on New Tie Helmet Interest within the The Cargo Hold forum, part of the For Sale category; I've chopped up and reworked one of my Tie Helmets
I've chopped up and reworked one of my Tie Helmets to widen the forehead a bit and sharpen up the ear caps and over all smooth the surface out , Now I'm looking to see if there is any interest out there for this version.

how large is it compared to the sgt fang?
Thanks for all the interest on this board and others for the Tie Helmet , The more I looked at the helmet I started to find things I want to change and I'll post new pics in the next few days , I may even ask for input on some details.
As of today I cast a new helmet section and pulled a face plate on the vac form that has a few of the same flaws as say a TE face plate , so in the end I'll have two Helmets and mold the better one .
Price is looking like
$150.00 resin shell
$185.00 Fiber Glassed untrimmed
$250.00 Finished This price will more than likely change by quite a bit given the cost of material and time .
Prices can change given costs and first run size .
Size wise as large as the old Fang

Yes they'll be cast in gloss black .
so they're pretty big then? too large for a 5'3" girl?
Mike, they should look okay on her. Watch A New Hope when the 2 pilots are next to Vader near the end of the movie. They are both women and very short with full size helmets! Talk about a bobble head!

Thanks and your looks pretty good yourself. My wife has decided that she now wants a new bucket and does not care about the size.
Here's some update pictures of the new Tie Pilot helmet ,
The tri prong on the front has been extended , ear caps reshaped. dents filled , pillbox removed and center strip smoothed .
There's still quite a bit to do but it's coming along .
Put me down as intrested for a Fiberglass untrimed.

Update pics , ear details are under way and redefining the eyes and frown openings . After that sand and paint then repeat several times .
First coat of paint on and sanded with new eye pieces installed , I'm leaving in some of the original distortions the face plate to give it a little character . Here's the pics .

It's too bad I prefer my trooper-type-based helmets vac'd but I'll really have to think about this anyway.
The layers of paint are on and it's looking pretty good so far , A few more layers and it will get to sit for a while before wet sanding and polishing .
Here's some indoor and outdoor pics. I'll start a small pre order soon.
The resin shell one seems to be good value for money, I'll try my best to get some funds together, I definitely want to get this
I need to save up for this. I need one. Definitely need one. I love the Tie helmets! What's the difference between the finished one and the fiberglassed untrimmed? If it's not too stupid a question? x)
Nice work as usual Jarvis. It came out looking great. What paint did you use on it. It came out with a nice finish.

The black paint is Dupli color found at Pep Boys , and it's going into the mold tomorrow ,.........Finally
