NEW: Rangefinder remote kit and self contained lights

Here is my new Rangefinder wireless remote kit with Rangefinder lights.
You can change the velocity and the angle of the stalk moving.set a starting point and an endpoint.
i can make them for ESB with switches and for ROTJ with switches or black buttons.
you need 2 9v batterys for the headunit and a 12v for the self contained lights:

Nice kits SK, and I like how you can set the start stop points.

To verify, can you disable that beeping sound? Also, is this kit wireless or will I have to run the wires through my suit?

yes the beeping is only for testing.and it is wireless

SK i got RKD's kit just now....question on the servo, how do you attach the stalk to this nub on the servo. Nothing was included as far as any hardware. Thinking I need a set myself in the future.

i used a little screw and nuts and washer.
cut the head of the screw und put it in the little hole of the servo.i will make pics at the weekend.

but the part you send me in the link should work to

yes I bought one of your earlier kits and I still am figuring out how to attach the aluminum stalk to the servo, I am looking for an alternative to the servo extender shown on another tutorial.

cut the screw so long as you need.i used at the end superglue to fix the nuts and washers and stakl together for better holding

I think I may have come up with a really good way to add a post to the servo...I shall take some pics later today. I took your Idea combined it with the other one and came up with taking a screw just larger then the hole in the post that was in the servo....putting it into the servo with a threaded ali sleeve from the hardware store on it, screwed the screw on.....cut the head of the screw off removed the sleeve to debur the end, added some superglue to the threads to hold sleeve in place replaced sleeve. So instead of spending $10 on the servo adapter you make one for $2.50, no shipping no wait time. Drill out the stalk, add a set screw and your gtg. All for about $3. I got the servo working now to mount it in RKDs helmet...going to try and use chicago screwes to mount it....thinking that the will be able to hold it nicely compared to the mobo standoffs.
