looking for a rangefinder

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently trying to track down a source for a range finder stalk and head. Pretty much, I have a head but it's solid and I would like to add lights to it.

overall, I'm wanting to create a motorized, remote triggered rangefinder. I'm pretty new to this and am not 100 percent on what I need but have a pretty good idea as to what i want to do. I want to go the way of the micro rc car mod to keep costs down. I've gotten some pm's from other board members that offer kits and I appreciate it but I need to go more low cost. ultimately, I'm trying to find a hollow range stock so i can run a wire up it for the lights so I can hopefully use the rangefinder head I already have rather than buying a hollow one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

If the RF topper you have is resin, just hollow it out with a dremel

Out of the RFs listed above, the Asok piece is probably the cheapest but I don't know for sure.

F4R, how much in size does the Asok differ from the BM and he TF RFs? I am designing a light kit that should fit the Asok but I don't know what the size of the other ones are. And which would be more popular a self contained unit or one that needs a hollow stalk?

I print them in ABS plastic, if you are interested. I can make them to an exact size, there is a sale thread over on MMCC
