I think you should re-read the first post of the whole thread (actually, I reckon everybody should).
Maybe it is just me but I don't really think a pair of non-Fett boots are in keeping with the spirit of the thread. They certainly don't sound like a reasonable trade for a Fett helmet.
Karma is as Karma does, though. So I guess you're entitled to do what you want.

Ill give the neck seal a good home,, (Seeing as the PP2 in the hasbro pics has a neck seal on) Im very excited
I putting in this its the test pull from my mold,
Since painting this I added more fiber glass in to the interior to make it stronger its now stong enough how ever the paint got damaged, so it will need a repaint
Ill make some key slots up because there from a seperate mold
and I have a range finder topper,
All these parts were made in a rush and the helmet dome is a little pushed in as the mold was a bit wonky wasnt sitting in the mother mold right , but its minor
so for some one making a custome or even a Jango this will be an OK helmet
But I will say it is a B grade pull,
Also if the winner is out of the country (Australia) They willl need to be prepaired to pay for postage As post to the States can run at $50-$70 and Im not in a possition to cover that as much as Id like to ,
So if that suits then this can make a nice helmet

Change of plans the Jango helmet broke when I was trying to clean it up, it was to thin
So Ive got a white girth belt,(if some on wants it) Ill through in a Honey well micro switch and an acurate batteri tower for the interior of a helmet if some on is going for a replica of the interior workings

Yes I did in fact mean to refer to hunter of bounties, not BGhunter. It didn't get sent. At first he claimed he "just flew in and he would have it out the next thursday and msg me with a tracking #" that was on the 3rd. I have yet to receive the box, I have sent him messages, no reply, I even told him just to let me know if it wasn't coming and yet no reply. I think from this point any attempt he makes at entering a Karma drawing his name should be voided and ignored as he obviously either doesn't have anything to give, or doesn't intend to give anything. What REALLY baffles me if after he won and didn't put anything up, others offered to put up stuff in order to keep the thing going but he butted in and got all offended and insisted that he be given a chance to offer a drawing. So not only did I get ripped for a helmet Brail got ripped for the cape that I was going to then send to him once the box got to me.

Well, the instructions were that we could put anything in that was *costume* or *Star Wars* related. It didn't have to be specifically Fett related. A plush clonetrooper is not fett related. It's not even costume related, but it is Star Wars related. must I go on?

cool brother, people get excited..I think the thread boils down to this though: anything fett related or approved by the previous winner is good (I am sure I read that in an earlier post).I have been in several of these and offered many things not fett, but I always put in something fett related if only something small(ie.. mq-1 board or keypad) It really depends on the outlook of the people in the draw I think. Good luck and no hard feelings.
no one checks this thread anymore because we've had at least 5 people completely bail and I think most people lost faith. there have been times where it was stagnant for weeks before something finally got offered. unfortunately there has never been a good way to govern who should be eligible to win. and just the same, a lot of people have either offered things no one wants or no one needs. doesn't mean what is being offered has always been terrible, but then again some people have won good fett props and then offered up what most would consider "garbage".
Just my thoughts on this over time. It just sucks seeing people get shown up when they followed through on their word.
So it leaves us with the predicament , were do we go from here

Dont get me wrong Im not trying to skive out of my obligation , asI put a helmet in last time, and felt bad for some of the people who didnt win so I gave some of them helmets as well,

All i'm saying is it sucks some people haven't come through. It's fine to keeping going in the spirit of the game, but it shouldn't be surprising some people don't want to get involved.
i havent had internet for a year. just got back and now people want to quit. i think that part of the problem is that people dont want to enter the drawings becuse they dont have anything to offer. i one on her 3 times and only got my stuff once. but i also never got to send someone there stuff i have talked to him since and will be sending it afterr i get it out of storage. i got hurt a while back and had to live with family. hope this keeps going.
These are the boots I am talking about. Sorry if the pictures are blurry. they are a size 10US I think. Would they work for this thread. They have been worn only a little bit. They are steel toe but if it doesn't bother me much.

I would say no.
For the sole reason that someone could win star wars props and offer up either non costume items or non star wars items.
Let's say person C,D,E,F,G all have a specific fett item to offer up should they win the drawing.
Person A, is offering a set of Man of War boots
Person B also signs up for the drawing and plans to offer a Pirates of the Caribbean coin, and a homer simpson figure.
Person B wins the drawing.
Person C,D,E,F,G will probably ditch their items in the cargo hold and not even bother with Karma because someone won a Fett item and offered up what most of us would consider garbage.
No one wants to see someone else win a bunch of stuff they could really use, only to have the next drawing be stuff that is completely useless to them.

What happens when someone needs something that is offered and they have no fett stuff to put up? What do they do. You are punishing those who need stuff by giving people who already have a costume or two over those who have no costumes.
They go into the many threads in the Cargo Hold that offer the items they want and they buy them. With money.
Fett isn't a cheap costume and anybody that hasn't even started collecting any items should probably have a serious think about whether or not they can actually complete this costume. You will not be able to get everthing you need from the Karma thread.
In my opinion, if you have nothing to offer, then this isn't the thread for you. I think this thread (and I'm backed up by the first post here) is for people with some surplus "Fett related items" that are willing to offer them in trade for something else.
That is like saying people who offer homeowners a discount on landscaping are punishing people who don't own homes or that people that receive awards for academic achievement should give them to the less intelligent.
I have a set of metal chest armour that I made and I was seriously worried it wouldn't be good enough for this thread but now that I know I can offer up a pair of second-hand boots to the community, I might just keep that and throw in a pair of old joggers instead.

I think you may have misunderstood the reason for this thread , it was intended for people with Fett things to share amongst others with Fett things I have helmets so I can put them in , some one has gauntlets they can put them in , it is intended as a Fett trade thing ,
Im guessing (now dont take offence if Im wrong) But you are quite young ,16, 17 mabey this is an expensive hobby most of us are adults with jobs and familys and understand that to build a Fett you will have to out lay between $1000, to $3000 so if this seems impossible to you then mabey rethink , and you have only recently found this site, Bill makes many a good point they may seem harsh but in all aspects they are true this threed isnt intended to help those who dont have Fett stuff to build there Fett from nothing it is just a way of swapping things around,
Mabey you should just enjoy the site dont take offence from what people have said here,
You should consider saving up some money and buying a helmet and start from there

If they have no Fett stuff they shouldn't be here. This isn't a charity thread to "win" your whole costume. Its for ditching extras as you build your costumes in hopes that at some point something you need may be offered and what you can offer someone else may greatly need.
If they need what is offered they should try buying it in the first place if they have no Fett costume to begin with....
And the only punishment would be to give stuff to people who have nothing to give....punishing those who already have a costume and could've kept this going....

I eventually picked up a dental expander in the cargo hold, but I still have a bobamaker stalk and 3 out of 4 bobamaker resin knee launchers for anyone who wants them.
I've got an extra mq-1 board ,a dental expander screw, and a set of connecting rods for the esb rifle to put in if anyone wants to enter
I want to get this going again... so, I will put up my set of connecting rods, a pistol grip for the ee-3 and an mq-1 board for anyone interested in participating. I'll post pics in the morning of the products.

I know this is slowly dying out; it’s been almost 5 years. But this trade thread has evolved and has taken a life of its own over time, and that’s a good thing.
Let’s change up the rules a little. It’s been almost 5 years, time for a change.
Instead of just Fett parts or whatever let’s make it any Star Wars item trade for a trade. But it has to be Star Wars related whether that’s costume parts for toys or toys for posters or Posters of VHS tapes. Looks like that’s what’s been going on anyways but I don’t want people to think it’s just about costume parts.

once x amount of names (you decide if amount = 2 ppl or etc.... I usually waited a week) then you decide a method to choose ( i usually put names into a hat and had my daughter pick a name) then announce winner.
Also that is in fact a helmet skirt, there is no shin part that looks like that.
