Joe Johnston "Eyeball" concept Fett helmet

    Hi all you intrepid TDHers!
I recently completed a personal project, as seen in this thread:
    http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f23/s...72/#post624006
This is one of the Joe Johnston concept Fett helmets as seen in the book
The Art of the Empire Strikes Back. This is the sketch.

More details in the thread linked above.

I've decided that this helmet doesn't really fit in with the theme of the rest of my
Fett helmet collection, and hopefully there's a concept art fan out there who might
like to give it a good home!

The helmet is customized from one of Animefan's currently-available kits. Here's the completed helmet.

As described in the build thread, the ears were customized, the keyslot area was given a
completely new look, and the RF assembly was scratchbuilt from Sintra, .020" styrene and
    aluminum rod.

The helmet was finished with a combination of layered and topical techniques, by airbrush
and fine detail brush. Details were applied using flat black self-stick vinyl that was hand cut
to match the markings in the concept sketch, as well as small rub-on transfers.

The visor is a shade 3 welding visor that is installed using custom made aluminum tabs and
finishing screws. The visor is also tacked at the bottom of the vertical portion using small
dabs of hot glue. But it could be removed if desired.

The RF stalk is made from teardrop-profile aluminum rod and is simply slotted
into the top of the ear and can be removed for transport.

I'm asking USD 400.00 shipped anywhere in the solar system. If you come from
somewhere else, let's face it, you probably have much cooler gear than this anyway.
I'd prefer to go PayPal only for this one, and I ship USPS with delivery confirmation and
with insurance for the actual value.

If you have any questions, please post or PM. Thanks for looking!

I liked it a lot, do you think you'll be doing any other "unique" helmets anytime in the future?

    Hi Gray, thanks!
Not sure if I'll be doing any other concept helmets, but it's not outside the realm of possibility.
There are a couple of other designs from that same book that I really like.
