I will send all the pairs showed in the first post list, then I will start a continous run. At monday will have with me the whites soles to start the GMs and Kashyyyks.

I've been happily patient. I know these wil be awesome, and done whenever they're done. I'm in no hurry, as these will be for a costume that's barely begun. My one concern is whether the work on these boots might interfere with other boot orders. I need the Royal Guard and Republic Commando boots before I leave for Celebration in August.

I'm #9 on the first run of US11-12's, which I believe was the first run to fill up. I haven't received anything.

Even with the one week buffer Giovanni gave himself, these should have started shipping ten days ago. And no update. *sigh*

Shipping info please. You have taken $ from 40 of us and NONE of us as far as I have heard have received the boots. I understand your surgeries set you back but I think I speak for all of us when I say "an update is needed'!

hmmm, yeah $7960 received from us and now no updates... I am not the fastest with making props, but at least I respond most of the time when people ask.

I PM'd him and he replied promptly, stating that he was going to start shipping this Friday. I suggested that, as a group, we generally don't mind waiting IF there is good communication by the seller.

That having been said, I think everyone will feel much better when boots actually start arriving.

Crow an update is needed. According to your post you were going to send 10 pairs a week, as I understood, and you have not unpdated the list for 2 weeks. So.... if my math is correct 20 more pairs should have been shipped by now and tracking info provided. I have been very patient and believe an update is needed.

Guess what I had on my front porch when I got home from work today!!!! I will post pics when I get on the computer later, but I can tell you all that am very pleased.

They were shipped wrapped up in plastic, and there is some tape residue that I will need to clean off the soles, but they have arrived, finally! I am wearing them as I type, and they look awesome!

Nearly $8,000 up front, weeks go bye without updates, hasnt logged on to TDH since 8/28....thin?! I have waited 7 months for a jet pack but was kept updated. This lack of communication is disturbing and is growing very tiresome!!!

I sent him a PM on FB everyone should send him one and maybe we will find out what's up.

and just so you know I am not down playing your frustration. I would be frustrated too.

I have learned over time in this hobby that timelines given by most suppliers fall short. Some, stretch out a very long time. Family, unforeseen problems, issues, errors, life, things happen. Since they are not a business with a set factory or workers it can take a very long time. Man, I'm still waiting for a few products after 2 years. You either get your money back or be patient and save yourself the high blood pressure. I advise that if you don't know the reputation of the maker and you send them your money then you are at their mercy. In this case as with most of my purchases, I feel confident that the items will be delivered. So I wait, and relax. All things will come in time guys...and if not, well as I stated before, for your own sanity either get your money back or make other backup plans for the items you're waiting for. We will all rock when we have these!

I agree with everything you say However, I own shoe stores, employee numerous people, have 3 kids, coach volleyball, am a Scout leader and yet I still fullfill my obligations and promises. Common courtesy dictates a little communication. As an FYI I have been waiting years for a Prepro1 paint job Eight months for a pair of boots is nothing. It is the lack of communication that is unacceptable.

I wonder if a bunch of PayPal complaints would help get things moving.....

I traveled early in the morning to my capital country (2 hours from here), I picked the packs were retained days ago, with the postal issue resolved I can resend now the boxes here in my local postal office, they will pickup in few minutes more.I am only showing the Jangos packs in the pic, three pairs are delivered and more Jangos will be sent inside this week:

In all fairness to us, he shouldn't go incommunicado and drop out of sight after repeatedly failing to make good on his promises to ship, especially when he received all our money up front.

Again, as a whole, this board is pretty accommodating when a seller has real-life issues that delay a run; note how we all took the "school shoe season" and "hospital" delays in stride and wished Giovanni well. However, I feel like those accommodations are being taken for granted.

Dude, I don't think posting a message up here everyday screaming at him to refund your money or send your boots is working at all in your favor. He obviously is not responding as quickly as you like and everyone gets it. You will get your boots eventually and if not then chalk it up as a learning experience and move on.

Giovanni why are the soles on the white boots gray? In the beginning of this they were going to be tan soles. The CRL for Kashyyyk troopers lists Khaki or tan soles.

About color for GM´s, in the 501st GM´s official forum asked me make in this color even sent me the pantone color (400U), I think if you need reach other color is easy to make, the pantone 400U base color can be wheatered as usual with the armors to fit each individual scheme color armor.
I am finishing more boots and wil send this friday, I cant make ALL boots at same time and send ALL boots at same time, I am using the chronological payment order to make and send, I am finishing Jan and Feb, next week I will start with March and April and that is all commitment payments.

Both the Kashyyyk trooper and GM use the exact same boot it's plain to see in the pics you posted. Both are tan soles. The only reason I paid $200 for these boots was the correct tan sole. almost the entire boot is covered by armor so the details of that part really didnt matter if I have to paint the sole anyway I really feel like I've just thrown my money away.

I got my boots today and even though the wait time was very long the boots are great.

I received mine today. For the most part, they look great, just like in the pics. My one problem is that the painting of the silver on the soles is a little sloppy, IMHO, almost like it was rushed. That's OK, though, as I'd rather have boots in hand than not. My first point of business is to see if I can easily strip off the paint and re-do it to my liking.

That aside, I think this was money well-spent. I won't beat a dead horse re: communication, so let me just say that I'm very glad to finally have these, as they're probably the closest I'm ever going to get to a real pair of KC's.

I hope everyone else receives theirs in short order. I think you'll be pleased with the end product.

Giovanni, I sent payment on Feb 5th 2011... you stated on Oct 17th 2012 that the boots ordered in Jan-Feb would be shipping... I would like an update as I (like many others) have been waiting for WAY too long, just to hear you say "I am shipping them on (INSERT DATE)" and then not deliver... you cannot pop in once a month and promise the same thing you did the month before!!

I don't think most people are concerned about being ripped off. It's just a bizarre string of shipping assurances that have produced no boots, and spotty communication that gets people stressed out. We're all excited for these boots and get our hopes up when we hear they are on the way, then are let down when we hear nothing or receive nothing for weeks. Anyone would concede that is a fair reaction. Of course I'd like to get mine as well but do not need them right away so waiting for me isn't as big a deal. I know some guys were planning to have these for events.

Yeah. I'm confident that I'll receive mine eventually, but the lack of info is frustrating. I was kinda expecting to be wearing them to C6 honestly. Yes there's all the health issues and I'm sympathetic to that, sure. I'm pretty sure Gio bit off a bit more than he could chew with this project... plus all the other ones he's got going on at present. Just a bunch of stuff that culminates with us all sitting here with no product yet and no realistic expectation of when we'll receive them.
