He's certainly undertaking a "scorched earth" campaign. He'll likely never be able to get much interest on these boards ever again.
I got my boots only after threatening to file a fraud claim with PayPal; I think they arrived about two weeks later. It's possible that my boots were coincidentally ready to ship anyway, but I'm sure my threat didn't hurt. Good luck.

All I want is what I paid for over 300 days ago...sigh;( And yes I have waited over 1 year for props but I had communication with the makers. GIO what I want is some form of dialogue.
This is especially frustrating for me, as I have purchased from him before with no problem at all. Even somewhat last-minute, I still got my double order (Republic Commando and Royal Guard), from South America, in time for me to wear the RG boots at C6. I honestly didn't think they'd make it in time. So as prompt and efficient as that was, this... *gestures to take in this whole situation* ...baffles me.
I intend to stand by you, Gio. I can totally understand if you overcommitted yourself to this project on top of your regular orders and other real life matters, but definitely stay in communication, even if it's to say "taking longer than I expected -- stand by". I still intend to assist with the Imperial Officer boots, intend to purchase same, as well as your Vader and Scout Trooper boots (all forthcoming).
I am among those who paid in February for these Jango boots. First batch filled (size 11/12), first run, #5 spot on the commitment list, #10 (IIRC) paid. No PM or e-mail with a tracking number, but I keep hoping I'll come home and find a box on my doorstep. Christmas is coming, after all...

Unfortunately i'm not registered at CTN so i can't read the text.
Maybe you can tell us here. For sure this would be highly appreciated.
It is a very long post, but the good news is that he is responding there, and items are being sent. He stated that he is struggling due to laws in his country that do not allow PP money to be transferred over to his bank account. He said that he can only withdraw so much money a week, and that this is limiting the number of items that he can ship. He also said that he brought down the ordering portion of his website so that he can catch up. The bad news is that he does not appear to be following any order of the shipments and people that ordered recently are getting their items before some that ordered and paid back when this run started.
The CTN mods are running that post, and have been involved in assisting people by trying to get updates and such.

Just requested to be added to the list on CTN. Here's the timeline so far. I'm currently waiting on Jango (sz 10) (ordered on TDH) and RC Omega (sz 10) boots (ordered on CTN).
08JUN12 - Sent initial PM for RC boots interest. (CTN)
22JUN12 - He responded with costs. (CTN)
22JUN12 - Paypal sent.
23JUN12 - He responded with paypal confirmation. (CTN)
03JUL12 - He informs me that his first run of Jango boots are complete, and he can accept my order. (TDH)
04JUL12 - I request amount and notify of boots already ordered from CTN. (TDH)
06JUL12 - He responded with "As you know, I have to send the commitment run first, then, as I promised I will make the first pair second run to you, that will take 2 o 3 weeks, your RC will be ready to ship in 6 days more." (TDH)

So, we'll see how it goes! I personally haven't made any complaints yet, as I'm not home to check my packages. There's a lot of people jumping on over at the clone troopers detachment... I don't mind waiting, but what really makes me mad about this is that people who ordered in Oct 2012 are receiving boots where those of us from Feb 2012 are still waiting... Crow (Gio) needs to do a better job of working from back to front to make less people unhappy
Yeah definitely! I paid before the first run for not only the boots but also the flight suit and the vest and I'm not even on it either!
Does anyone with access on CTN have any news? Like most of you I paid a year ago and all that's left for me to complete my Jango are these boots.
There is no new news over at CTN either... only more people expressing their dissatisfaction :(

Got an email from Gio that my 2 pairs of Jango Boots (1st Run) is shipping out. A check on the website for tracking that it's now in the mailing faculty.

Old news but Crow's FB account shows a post to everyone on DEC 2nd that he will be too busy to post content to FB until further notice...as translated. I suppose now upon hearing that news from Belugas makes me believe that was good news then and not him disappearing off the earth. Thx B.

As of the tracking... it's stated on 14th Jan that it's been shipped out from Quito, Capital of Ecuador.

I really hope this shipping problem gets straightened out and you all receive these soon. I have a pair and can tell you the quality is excellent and you will all be pleased once you get them.
Once again, while having to wait so long is a drag, the real issue is no comms at all. I understand being busy but how much time does it take to drop a sentence or two on this post once in awhile? Just to say that you haven't forgotten us and are dealing with...(insert issue).

Receiceved some news today, not from crow, but from a guy from germany: He paid his boots 10 months ago and received them last saturday, while i paid more than 12 months ago, and i don't even get an answer or a tracking number. This is such a shame, i cannot beleive. I'm a patient man, but this can't be put into words....
well i'm 10 months into my wait... so that doesnt bode well!
Boots that I sent first february week still on delivery stage yet, mostly of the 25 pairs are delivered, Rapier2278 and Angelfettus, I left 8 jango pairs to send to TDH, are in box and I am waiting for funds transfer to send the last pairs, your pairs are ready to ship, I have internet now in my department so I can talk daily with you again, I am now in a new way to sell, you can order a pair and I will ask for the payment only at the ready to ship stage, you will not to send any money before, now that the first run is finished I will can down the price to 190usd worldwide ship included, of course the commitment members run list will receive first and then the new orders, you are able to ask me for your Jango pair, updating first post.

Man, that's ridiculous-a german guy ordered his boots about 3 months ago and received them this week...
Having waited over a year, I have been given assurances on 2 different occasions that mine were on the way. In November of last year and then in May of this year. I've yet to get the boots. I have no idea what system Gio is using to send boots but it certainly isn't those who ordered earliest. I would be more understanding if I weren't seeing others get boots who bought them long after I did. Very frustrating.
I seriously don't know whats going through Crows head, it almost feels intentional. If it's not intentional all I can do is assume he's broke and cannot afford to finish the run.Quote:

Because if we are never going to see the boots, I need to know. This is effecting peoples lives, yes it sounds strange but he needs to know that his actions are affecting people in a very negative manner. By not responding it shows a complete lack of respect to that huge list of people that trusted him to do the right thing.
I just checked the clonetroopers forum. He is posting there frequently. I have not read much yet, but others have asked for their status and he asked them to send details. So I suppose he forgot or lost his list or whatever.

I joined clone troopers and posted to let Gio know that we at TDH have been largely forgotten and would like an update. It's clear from his postings there and others that he's been taking new orders and some of the guys there have ordered recently and gotten their boots already! I have to say I got my boots a month or two back and while they look nice, they are definitely a little more on the flimsy side... the front stitching (under the boot armor) started splitting after one troop... I am not one to bad mouth and he did come through with the boots I ordered, but just kinda expected more like the Bedford Stus I had already.

Boots received. I'm happy so far, they look really nice.
I just want to say, I've been waiting on these since the run started, and to me they were worth the wait. I think a lot of the reason he's been quiet is because people have gotten incredibly hostile in a short amount of time. This isn't like going to Walmart and buying a pair of shoes. He basically had to make these by hand, and I think he was overwhelmed by the sudden volume of orders in a very short time. Was I frustrated by the wait? A little. But then I thought about the fact that I basically can't find this style boot anymore, what it would take if I wanted to make these by hand (spoiler alert: I can't), and I came to the conclusion that it really didn't bother me waiting as long as I did.
I would order these again, in a heartbeat. A long wait, yes, but one I was willing to endure.
