Thanks again Rudy! It was a pleasure! Hit me up again anytime you need more pieces![]()
Eagerly awaiting my shipment. I can't help but check the postage tracking a few times a day. Can't Wait!!
It should arrive any day now, let me know! Thanks again!![]()
Christmas has come early!! Nice work on my armour will. Just need to check out your tutorial on knee assembly. can't wait to start cleaning up and painting. THANKS AGAIN WILL!!
Awesome buddy! Glad you got it ok and that you're pleased with it all!![]()
It always makes me a little nervous sending armor Down Under cause I'm afraid it might not arrive but so far I've had the best luck (I guess it doesn't hurt that the boxes are so large, probably makes it a little hard for them to lose it lol) so it makes me happy to know whenever one of my customers gets their package. Thanks again so much for your business!
Take care, have fun with the build and be sure to post up pics!
I just received my armor from will.
Man this is some sweet very well made armor, I really recommend his stuff.
Also beside everything looking very nice and well made, the quality and sturdiness of the plastic is awesome, boy.. this is some hard firm armour, I bet it would really withstand a blaster hit.!!
Great quality work man keep it up, I'll post some pics on how my fett develops.
cheers.
Pablo.
Thanks a TON for that feedback and for the kind words Pablo(and for the bump...I'm not too proud to take one when I can get it
) . I'm really glad that you're pleased with the armor and I'll be looking out for your wip. Have fun with the build and thanks again!

Hey everyone! I'll be out of town for the weekend between March 2nd and March 5th. I may or may not (don't know yet) have access to internet, so if you don't hear back from me within the next few days, that's why. Thanks again all and I'll see you soon back on the boards
-RKD
Hi all!
I'm back in town now and taking up orders again! If you've been waiting to hear back from me, check your inbox...all pm's and messages replied. Thanks very much for your patience. We now return you back to the regular thread![]()
Are you still making this armour?
Sure am bro! PM me if you're interested and we can hash out the details![]()
How many of these pieces do you have dentless for SuperTrooper armor?
Let me see -
Backplate
kidney plate
Collar
shoulders
knees
I think that's about it...oh wait, I just checked in the garage and I've still got the old molds for my V1 chest set, however they're on more on the 'flat' side (and the ab is inaccurate) but could probably be formed to fit better. I also make a dentless cod V1 but it's not accurate either :/
Ight cool I will keep that in mind. I'm going to wait on the armor for a bit.
Sounds good Trev, I totally understand.
I'm always doing runs on this stuff, so just hit me up whenever you're ready bro. Thanks again for your interest![]()
Here's a few teaser shots of my new V2 knees. I've had so many requests lately for assembled knee kits, that it's hard for me to keep up with demand while maintaining my sanity :P These new kits will save me a TON of time for folks ordering the assembled ones.
So after looking at FP's knee kits I finally figured out how to make them in ONE piece. I'll still be sending the 1/8" inch inserts along with these for strength and stability.
The good news - these kits will be faster and easier to assemble and will be a bit stronger than the V1's
The bad news - these kits are going to cost more due to the complexity of the mold and the waste of plastic involved in one of these pulls, (not to mention the pain it is to get the plastic off :/)....more work on my end but less on yours...we all know time is money so it's pretty much a wash.
I'll still be offering the V1's at their current price for more budget oriented Fetts and for those of you have more time to work on a V1 kit. For those who are in a bit more of a hurry or like the idea better of a one piece shell, these'll be for you. At the moment I'm looking at pricing these at about $60 a set. Take a look at the pics and let me know what you all think. Thanks for looking
![]()
I was looking at getting a set of your knees anyhow soon. There is no way I will miss out on them now. Very nice.
Brilliant work on getting them out in one piece, too.
Thanks Bill! I have to admit that I stole the idea from Fettpride after looking at his for a good long time and trying to figure out how in the heck he did it...I think I figured it out though...although who knows, I may actually be doing mine different than him with the same results. Don't worry Chris, I ain't spilling the beans on this one bro
Here's another top view shot:

First post updated with some new greeblies which are now available for purchase with the kits. More are planned in the near future. Stay tuned and thanks for looking!![]()
A quick word on the 1 piece knee kits - I did some test pulls the other night of the dented version (haven't poured the molds for the nondented yet, that'll be later this weekend) and I discovered that I'm going to have to raise my prices on them a bit...almost double of the V1's
HOWEVER, there will be some pricing options on these to make it a little more affordable. Here's what I came up with:
-V2 outer shells only (.090 ABS) set of 2 (weakest but can be strengthened with fiberglass, etc. if you wish) - $50
-V2 outer shells with V1 inserts - $65 (much stronger but a little more work to assemble, yet still less work than V1 knees with V1 inserts)
-V2 outer shells with V2 inserts - $75 (strongest... easiest and fastest to assemble)
The reason for the higher prices is because the all V2 kits with V2 inserts use twice as much plastic (it's extremely wasteful to make them this way because I can only put one mold on the table at a time) and twice as many pulls...not to mention they're a b**** to get off the mold and very time consuming to cut out of the plastic, but it can be doneYou could likely get away with the .090 version but they're weaker that way without the inserts or some kind of way to strengthen them.
Pics coming soon of the dented versions! Stay tuned![]()
Havent been on in a bit...just wanted to show what RKD stuff looks like done...this is me at C2E2 in Chicago. Great armor IMHO. Bulletproof too. BFETT :: C2E2.jpg picture by TK9039 - Photobucket
You did a sweet job on that brotha! Wow! Thanks for sharing!![]()
Really? lol
Uh, your welcome?
[QUOTE=redkraytdragon;571825]Thanks Bill! I have to admit that I stole the idea from Fettpride after looking at his for a good long time and trying to figure out how in the heck he did it.../QUOTE]
Reply With Quote Posted from iOS app Finally got these V2 knees finished up!
Here's the breakdown of how I'll be offering them:
.090 outer shells (no inserts...weakest, no assembly) - $50 + S$H
.090 outer shells (V1 inserts with blanks...stronger, some assembly, less than V1 shells pieces with V1 inserts) - $65
.090 outer shells (V2 inserts with blanks...strongest, least assembly) - $75
The blanks included in the kits are for sandwiching into the "F" sides to fill in the gap between the insert and the outer shell and will only be included with kits that come with the inserts (see pics below)
That being said, I will no longer be offering the V1 kits assembled (only in kit form). I will however, be offering the V2 kits assembled, finished, sanded, and primed for $90 +S&H
Here's pics! They are shown EXACTLY as you will receive them. Hit me up with any questions. I'll be updating the first post. Thanks again all for looking

[QUOTE=fettpride;573363]Really? lol
Uh, your welcome?
Sorry bro, I totally missed your post lol
Yes! Thank you Chris!
If I had never seen pics of your 1 piece knee kits, it would have never occurred to me to even try it that way. It was one of those "hmmm, why didn't I think to do it like that" moments
Yet another reason why I keep my finger on the pulse of what other craftsmen are doing. Granted, I try to do my own thing and blaze my own trail, but with so much great talent out there with awesome ideas it pushes me to think outside the box while striving to make a better product that's easier/better for the client.![]()
payment sent, easy to deal and talk to.
Got the funds, thanks bro! PM replied as well![]()

Whatever you do, you turn it into something amazing! This is pure gold for those in need for a set of accurate armor! Excellent job!
You're too kind Rafa! Thanks again my friend.![]()
Still always trying to improve my skills, but I can't take total credit for the gaunts pieces that I've been offering recently as the masters have been getting made by a machinist buddy of mine (did have to make some changes and do some major cleanup on a few of them though). I did however mold and cast them upStay tuned for more good stuff in the near future!
Pm sent![]()
Replied! Thanks a ton Matt!![]()
If anyone is thinking about purchasing from Will do not hesitate at all. He is a fantastic seller and his armor is top notch. Great communication, quick turnaround time...I can't say enough. Thanks again!
RKD, do you offer painted armor? Your stuff looks great but I don't have the talent or the time to paint my armor whenever I am finally ready to get it. I'm going to pm LS4U for a flak vest and neck seal, then I'll really start thinking about getting my armor.
Hi Jc,
Thanks for the kind words
No sorry I don't offer painting services bro, just don't have the time. I would hit up some of the other guys on here like Fett4real and a few others (can't think of any others off the top of my head, but I know they're around). Be sure to ask around, I know someone else here will know tooGood luck!
Armor looks great from what ive read... once i fix my motorcycle im gonna have to get a set from you if you have time! Great job brother!
Thank you my friend. I'll likely still be making these for a while so just hit me up whenever you're ready and I'll get ya set up

Thank you very much and glad you like the armor bro! Have fun with the build and show us some pics!![]()
After talking with my machinist, he told me that he had plenty of aluminum stock and can get more readily available, so I decided to offer my aluminum knee darts as a continuous run for the foreseeable future. First post has been updated with pics, measurements, and prices.
Aluminum knee darts (same size and dimensions as the resin versions)
Smooth - $45 a set
Grooved - $55 a set
Thanks all for looking!

Hope to meet/see many of you there! Safe travels!
Just added new pressure cast resin rockets to my greeblie inventory. Check out the first post for details. Here's pics:

Hey RKD!
Good to see you're still not only in the game, but really stepping it up! (I've been away for a while). This looks fantastic and I'm definitely on board. PM inbound!
Thanks for the kind comments Carl, glad to see you back bro! PM replied![]()
Will,
I received the parcel yesterday. The rocket sculpt is excellent! This is really going to fill a need
Thanks!
Great news brotha! Thanks for the feedback and for your business! I hope it serves you well for many troops to come![]()
I just wanted to point out that RKD armor is extremely durable! I had an RKD kidney plate that I had purchased damaged from another seller in an attempt to repair it ( it was a minor crack at the very edge) after a while I decided to scratch the project. So as a "science experiment" I attempted to break it in half. And let's just say it took A LOT of effort! So fear not if you were skeptical about the durability it has been Fettistics approved! Lol
Reply With Quote Posted from iOS app Awesome work! If your still making sets, I am interested in a few pieces. Ive a few that need to be replaced and your sets look amazing. Ill send you a PM.
Thanks a TON for that comment Fettistics, appreciate that bro!Believe it or not, I've actually had a customer who had his chest armor lying in the garage while working on it and then went into the house and unbeknown to his wife, she pulled the car in after getting home and drove right over the armor. Fortunately, nothing was damaged according to what he told me and he was very thankful for it. Glad to hear the pieces are holding up to some abuse though lol
Ren, I got your message my friend thanks! PM replied![]()
I don't know why I haven't been offering these in this thread, I've had them for about 4 or 5 months now and just noticed they weren't in here....
Anyway, they're in now. First post updated with THESE...check it!
![]()
Will, do you know how much bigger your armor is compared to BMs armor? He is going to be finishing my chest set in February and since I'm 6'4" and around 240 I am wondering if the BM armor is going to look stupid on me.
Jc, I couldn't tell you exactly how much bigger mine is than his cause I've never had a set of his in my possession to be able to compare to...but in my honest opinion I think my armor would be better suited to your frame/weight size.
Well hopefully I will be able to sell or trade it for a set of yours after I get it.
Daz isn't going to start the armor until February. I already have the cod, back, and kidney armor and once he does the chest pieces I will most likely be looking for a finished set that would fit me better. I don't know the size of the FP stuff
No worries. When I get everything I will have a better idea of how it will all fit and look on me.
PM sent with a few questions.
Replied, thanks!![]()

Notice -
Due to recent unforeseen personal real life circumstances, I am no longer taking orders at this time. I am temporarily shutting down IOA for the foreseeable future. I apologize for the inconvenience but this must be done.
Anyone with pending orders, have no worries. Your orders will be processed and completed upon final payment.
Thanks again everyone for all of your support up until now.
-RKD
Jeez dude, hope it's nothin serious and wish you well, hope you get back on track soon.
Terrible news! Your one of the best providers! Hope things get better for you though.
Hope things get better for you.
It good to see that you are taking care of "business" with peoples orders and not taking more. I wish more people would be responsible like this. We all know life happens but being responsible for ones actions sure makes things work out better, just less to worry about.
we all will be waiting for your return but most important take care,
Megatron
I hope too that everything is OK there, Will! It would be sad if we'll lose (even temporarily) in a way or another a great builder with a great service. Take your time and resolve all the real life problems and the rest of the good things will follow. Take care!
Sorry to hear this, hopefully you will get everything worked out. Take care and hopefully IOA will be back in the near future.
sad news indeed. Hope things get worked out for you will.
Thank you all so much for the kind words, concern, and well wishes, it really means a lot to me
I apologize for the delay in my response, but I just haven't had the strength or conviction to get on the computer for the last few days. I can't really say much right now, but I've gotten some potentially devastating news concerning my health....however, I just learned yesterday that it may also turn out to be ok...it's really all up in the air at the moment. I apologize for being so vague about it, but I feel for the moment that's the best way to handle it.
Due to my mental state after hearing the news, I just didn't feel that I could properly complete and send out orders until all of this gets resolved. I will definitely have a much clearer picture in a few weeks that I'll be more than willing to share with everyone as soon as I hear what the results are. Depending on what those results are will determine whether or not I continue to venture forward with making armor. Again, thank you all so much for your patience and concern, it really means a lot to me
All the best
Will
Will i am so sorry to hear this news about your health, keep a positive mental state regardless of how your body may feel
you're an asset to this community and a truly great creative member of the human race.
Regards Jimmy/thebeans.
Will, truly sorry to hear that buddy. Prayers and hoping for the best coming your way.
Dave
Thank you both very much for the kind words of encouragement, it really does mean a lot to me. I'll keep you all posted just as soon as I hear anything.Again thank you all for your support, I'm truly privileged to be a part of such an amazing community/family
No problem. It's the least we can do for you, stay positive and we will be here to help if we can.
Will, just wanted to say Good Luck, and send you some encouragement.
Thanks so much jc and azrok![]()
You are welcome. Keep your chin up and stay positive.
Jeez, I hope you are alright Will! Rest up and get well--nothing is worth risking your health. Thank you for all that you have done for us!
Marcus
Thank you Marcus and JC
Just wanted everyone to know that I got great news back from the doctor last week and surgery went well. All skin cancer is clear and gone (for the moment). I have a follow up and one more test to go. That being said, I'll be starting up the shop again and can now commence with taking orders. Thanks to ALL of you for your support, prayers and concern, (and patience) it really means a lot!
P.S. Be sure to check out my other sale threads with my Aurra Sing pistol casts and new MCQUARRIE Fett style blaster kits!

you going to offer dental expanders?
I've been offering them for quite a while now. Scroll down to the bottom of my very first post for pics and prices and you'll see all the gaunt greeblies that I currently offer![]()
So if I was wanting to use your armor, but go the ESB route... Really I could use everything but the gaunts and shoulders, right?
Edit... Read now that you do have ESB shoulders.
I'll be sending you a PM soon.![]()
Welcome back, glad you had good news. Life is good!
