IOA ROTJ Fett Armor kits Version 2 - Now available

    Greetings everyone,
Well, I've decided the time has come where I feel comfortable enough with my efforts on this project to the point where I feel I can now make these version 2 kits available to everyone here. These molds are the result of hundreds of hours of research and sculpting (not to mention some cursing, swearing, and throwing of things lol). Just like the thread title states, this is version 2...meaning a lot of these pieces have been sculpted TWICE (something I did not really much enjoy but it was a valuable lesson learned and I'm glad I had to go through it now that it's over). Thanks to the help of some knowledgeable 'Fett heads' here in the community, I have been able to refine these sculpts to make them much more accurate than before. Are these the most accurate that you can buy? No, they are not. Are they screen accurate? No, but fairly close (with the exception of the kidney plate). However, I feel that I have priced these kits at a reasonable price to make them affordable to just about anyone. I feel that these are excellent looking kits (of which I gladly wear myself) and provide another option to what's already available to the members here at an affordable price. That being said, I'd like to go over a few details before getting into the actual pricing and pics.

    - These kits are based on the WOF large size templates. Pics with measurements are provided below.
    - These kits will be pulled out of 1/8" inch ABS (with the exception of the gauntlets and some pieces of the knees, which will be pulled out of .060 black…whether you order a white or black set, it will come with these in black). You will have a choice of black or white ABS kits (white being available for the foreseeable future...there have been issues in the past of me sourcing the white, but I currently have a good amount of white stock on hand…sourcing black is not an issue at all). For the black kits, the chest sets only will be pulled out of .093 black boltaron (a very tough and durable kydex alternative) unless you request the black ABS (no difference in price)
    - The white ABS is more expensive (not by much though) and that will be reflected in the price of the white kits.
    - All kits will come rough trimmed. If you would like them finish trimmed please contact me for pricing as it will vary from piece to piece.
    - These will be ongoing runs for the foreseeable future. I can pull any piece at any time (full kits or parts only, if you wish), you may mix colors (again white ABS being a bit more) and/or mix and match parts or buy multiples of parts only, if you wish.
    - I prefer paypal, but will accept other forms of payment as well.
    - I will ship international, but as expected it will cost extra and be determined by which country you live in.
    - All shipping charges will include my handling, paypal fees, and shipping confirmation fees.
    - I will do payment plans...HOWEVER, payments will be NON-REFUNDABLE. So please keep that in mind before deciding to go down that road.
    - A quick word on shipping backplates. Because of their larger size, shipping will be more expensive unfortunately.
    - To place an order, pm me with what you wish to purchase (parts or kits) as well as where you live, and I will provide you with a comprehensive price list and my pp info. Please be specific with which items you want in your order, thanks 

Please feel free to pm me or post any other questions you may have that I might have missed in the above list.

UPDATE: Version 2 knees (1 piece outer shells)
    .090 outer shells (no inserts...weakest, no assembly) - $50 + S$H
.090 outer shells (V1 inserts with blanks...stronger, some assembly, but less than V1 shells pieces with V1 inserts) - $65
    .090 outer shells (V2 inserts with blanks...strongest, least assembly) - $75

The blanks included in the kits are for sandwiching into the "F" sides to fill in the gap between the insert and the outer shell and will only be included with kits that come with the inserts (see pics below)

That being said, I will no longer be offering the V1 kits assembled (only in kit form). I will however, be offering the V2 kits assembled, finished, sanded, and primed for $120 +S&H
For those of you ordering the V2 knee kits unassembled, I have posted up a tutorial video which can be viewed here:

Here's pics! They are shown EXACTLY as you will receive them. Hit me up with any questions. I'll be updating the first post. Thanks again all for looking

Now on to the pics and measurements:
    The complete black kit -

    The complete white kit –

Close-ups and measurements of the individual pieces in corresponding order (colors may vary, but all parts and pieces are pulled from the same molds) –
    Backplate:

    Shoulders:

    Collar plate:

    Chest set:

This set is pulled in ABS

Just to give you all an idea of how tough this boltaron stuff is, here's some pics of the torture that a buddy of mine put these pieces through:

    And the final 'after' shot:

Cod plate (images of this cod plate is pulled out of .090 white, detail may be slightly sharper on this particular piece):

Kidney/Butt plate (NOTE – I sculpted this piece for my own body style. It is inaccurate and does not reach all the way around the waist and connect directly with the cod, however it is held firmly in place and covered up by the girth and ammo belts) - NOTE: Please ignore the bumpiness/wavyness on a few of these shots. I have since phased out the haircell texture plastic to smooth only...those pics were left in for measurement purposes only :

    Gauntlets (clamshells pulled in .060):
    - Left Gaunt: NOTE: Please ignore the bumpiness/wavyness on a few of these shots. I have since phased out the haircell texture plastic to smooth only...those pics were left in for measurement purposes only :

    - Right Gaunt: NOTE: Please ignore the bumpiness/wavyness on a few of these shots. I have since phased out the haircell texture plastic to smooth only...those pics were left in for measurement purposes only :

    Flamethrower (pulled in .060):

    Whipcord housing (pulled in .060):

    Knee kit V1:
Here's a list of the pieces you will receive with each set -
Left and right inner body shell (pulled in 1/8" inch)
Left and right kneecaps (your choice of smooth or ROTJ dents)
Left and right dart assembly housing (no darts or greeblies)
Left and right inner knee 'F' shape detail piece
6 ABS square blanks for use in assembly (2 in .060 thick and 4 in 1/8" thick) (see youtube video for instructions): YouTube - Knee.armor.tutorial.MOV

For the sake of measurements and to display what a primed and ready to paint set looks like, please check the following pictures (some pictures may show no dents, yours will have dents):

    UPDATE:
I will now be offering the collar, shoulders, and knee plate fronts with these sets in the super tough boltaron for an additional fee (due to the higher cost of this plastic).
    Prices are as follows:
    Collars - $30
    Shoulders - $25
    Knee kits V1 - (unassembled rough trimmed) - $40
(no longer available assembled, finish trimmed and primed)
    ----------------------------------------
Total for a whole black kit (w/unassembled knees V1) with the boltaron collar, shoulders and knees - $334 + S&H
(add $188 for all greebs and knee darts)
    " (w/unassembled knees V2) - $388 + S&H (add $188 for all greebs and knee darts)
    “ (w/assembled knees V2 only) - $426 + S&H (add $188 for all greebs and knee darts)
    Here's the pics:

    -----------------------------------------------------
Greeblies currently available (more are planned for the future)
All pieces (for the foreseeable future) will be made in Smoothcast 305.
Some minor cleanup will be required, but most major cleanup will be completed by me before shipping out. Some minor bubbles on a few of the pieces are unavoidable for the time being (I'll be resolving that issue in the near future hopefully) but efforts have been made to cast them in areas that will remain hidden if you choose not to decide to fill them in with putty (or whatever).
Prices do not include shipping and handling

Prices and pics are as follows:
Left gauntlet rocket - PRESSURE CAST - $35+S&H
A quick word on these: These rockets are 100% bubble free (how often do you see that?) and cleanup is minimal. I hid the seamline as much as (and where) possible to minimize cleanup. These rockets are also almost perfectly round unlike many others I have seen which tend to have that wonky oval shape. These are tricky and time consuming to make, hence the higher price tag...but I think you'll find it worth every cent once you see one in person. Here's pics:

Left gaunt dental expander - $10. 2-sided and pressure cast! Excellent detail on these

    Flamethrower nozzles (set of 2) - $15

Left gaunt calc pad - $12

Right gaunt darts (set of 4) - $10

    MQ-1 circuit board PRESSURE CAST - $12 +S&H
Note - I have added mounting pegs in the corners for easier assembly inside the helmet

Right gaunt rear hose connector - $15

Right gaunt oval shape - $5
Note - I added a wedge to the bottom for easier installation and to allow for a more proper angle sticking out of the gauntlet

Right gaunt whipcord housing - $16 (comes with extra styrene tubing for 'box housing')

Fett style knee darts - Version 1 (smooth) - $22

Fett style knee darts - Version 2 (grooved) - $22

Aluminum knee darts (same size and dimensions as the resin versions)
    Smooth - $45 a set
    Grooved - $55 a set

    And grooved (same measurements)

Foam knee dart installation kits - 2 pieces - $6 (darts and housing not included) Works with either the V1 or V2 knee kits. Note: Be sure to install these BEFORE assembling either your V1 or V2 kits. Here's the link to the youtube video on how to install these:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YROPb...1&feature=plcp

I have attempted, to the best of my abilities, to show you all the angles, measurements, fittings, etc of all the armor pieces and greeblies as well as any perceived flaws. Please feel free to post or pm me with any questions you may have regarding concerns in these areas. Thank you all for looking

    Looking good!

My next observational question is would it be a good idea to re-tool the kidney plate so it's longer on the sides?
I'm thinking the real suit is this way and the cod attaches OVER the kidney one.

Nice! I'd be interested in a set of gaunts and a chest set.
Although I am noticing a slightly dimpled texture on the black pieces. Is that just the picture, or is that something that needs to be sanded out?

There is a slight rippling texture to some of his stuff.
I wet sanded it out when I was finishing it up.

I'm guessing it's only when he uses abs that is textured on the inside because I have a set of "test pulls" from when he redid his chest plates and they are nice and smooth on both sides.

Re: IOA ROTJ Fett Armor kits Version 2 - Now available

@Tony - To answer your question - I'm probably not going to be retooling the kidney plate. I just made it to fit my body for personal use and decided to include it in the kit. You are correct though, it's supposed to wrap around and connect with the cod, mine does not. For a low profile piece that's going to be covered up with girth and ammo belts, I feel that it's not really worth the trouble for me (not to mention that I don't sell very many of these)
And as far as the plastic goes, I cannot source smooth/smooth textured plastic where I am locally (I was told it had something to do with their availability and extrusion process) so I have what's called 'haircell' texture on one side of the plastic. It does show through a tad bit (it's very minimal through the 1/8" inch) but is easily sanded out (you have to sand the armor anyway to paint it). You can see in my build thread how the armor looks after painting and sanding and it's completely smooth when finished: http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f25/r...t-armor-37100/
The only rippling you're really going to see is on the gaunts because they are pulled out of .060 which is thinner and shows through more.

Re: IOA ROTJ Fett Armor kits Version 2 - Now available

Weekend bump. After doing a special order for a friend, I've discovered that I can now pull collars, shoulders, and knee plate fronts out of the smoother boltaron plastic. This stuff doesn't like to stretch at all in the forming process so cods and backplates are out.

However this plastic costs almost twice as much as the regular ABS hence the prices on those pieces will be a bit more (about $5 per) Will get pics and pricing up later this week. Hit me up if you're interested

Just a quick heads up to everyone - I'll be leaving for Phoenix this coming Wednesday (May 25th) for the con there and won't be back till late Sunday night (May 29th). I won't have any internet access while I'm gone so if you pm me and I don't answer back right away don't worry, I'm not ignoring you I'll get back to everyone as soon as I return.
If you happen to be in Phoenix and are planning on attending the con, be sure and stop by my table (I'll be sharing one with Allen of Anarchy squared props) and say hi. I'll have kits on hand for you to look at and check out as well. Hope to see you there and for the rest of ya, I'll see you here on the boards when I return!

Re: IOA ROTJ Fett Armor kits Version 2 - Now available

I just got two sets of Armour from Redkraytdragon and I am extremely happy. I got one full complete set for my ROTJ build I am doing for myself and another smooth (un-dented) set for my wife who I am doing a custom mando for.
His shipping was nice and fast as he had everything I needed already made and in stock at his shop. Soon as I paid he had it all boxed up and shipped out that after noon. His prices are MORE then fair. When I compared what he offered other sets available I just couldn't pass up a nice quality made set like Redkraytdragon's especially for the low cost of it.
As far as I am concerned from what I have seen of other stuff Redkraytdragon will be a high end contender in no time and if he keeps going the way he is I have no doubt that his name will be up there and synonymous with those like Fettpride.
I understand that's a very bold statement but that's also how much I love this stuff. Its really nice to work with, very forgiving and the 0.93 chest armour is without a doubt in my opinion second to none.
So honestly if you want a quality scratch sculpted set that offers a ton of extras I'd honestly give Red and all he offers a good solid look over. He customer server even after the payment and the delivery to me has been awesome. Always willing to lend a hand in making sure I'm going in the right direction on putting it all together or even painting/weathering methods.
I will be posting progress pics soon of both of my builds once I get a little bit further into the builds.
    Thanks all.
    Cheers.

First post updated with THIS -

UPDATE - ESB shoulders are now available with these kits. You will now be able to have your choice of a full ESB or ROTJ kit in either black or white. Shoulders will be priced the same for either kit and will not affect the price on either. Here's the pics:

The armor you sent me looks great painted! I did have to do a little modifying with a heat gun to fit snug against my tiny frame, though.

Don't mind the terribly self-crafted and taped-on chest bits in the photo. I'll probably buy a new set from you eventually.

A great price on your armor! I've heard your name mentioned before but had never looked at this post. Right now I'm currently building my armor out of plastic from trash cans with my limited funds and also rushing my costume a bit for this Halloween this year but as I progress with upgrades for more a more accurate looking Fett and I get my money saved up I'll be contacting you. All the pieces look amazing. Everything looks really good and the prices are very affordable. Thanks for the work you have done.

Re: IOA ROTJ Fett Armor kits Version 2 - Now available

I am looking forward to getting my armor! I have a set of aluminum armor I have been trooping in for the last few years, but it is a little on the heavy side so this will be my 'summer alternative'!

I had some thoughts for you that I am going to pass on. Since you are just getting started in selling armor and you are obviously very talented, I wanted to put in my two cents on a couple ideas that may help you out.

The first suggestion doesn't matter that much, but by chance did you ever modify your kidney plate to be more accurate? Since it is covered you are right that it is not that big of a deal, but to many of the hardliners, they might nit-pik that type of stuff. They want as screen accurate as possible and it would be a shame to see you not go as 'big' as your talent could take you because of something as small as that.

The second, and I guess last would be to make up a kit and ask one of the bigger names on here to review the armor. The first person that comes to mind would be WebChief. He is a very nice guy and is always willing to lend a helping hand. More importantly, he has a lot of credibility on this site. If he agreed to it, you could pack up a set of armor and send it to him for him to review and post a thread. I can't speak for him, but like I said, he has always been helpful and honest.

Anyhow, my point is that if he posted a positive review than it would boost up your moxi quite a bit. Just a couple thoughts. Look forward to getting my armor!

Thanks very much for the comments!! I appreciate the feedback and always take into consideration what others in the community have to say.

For the moment, I don't really have any plans to overhaul the kidney plate, but when I get some time that is something that I may seriously consider re-doing. I would like to see it more accurate as well in order to finish out the kit.

As far as your second thought goes, that's something that I'll also have to consider doing in the future sometime, but for now so far all the feedback that I've been getting from you all here on the boards has been very helpful and insightful and I really appreciate it
Anyone who owns my armor that wants to post up a review/wip/tutorial is always more than welcome to do so. I know that it's not perfect and there's always room for improvement, therefore I always like to hear back from everyone to see what other things I can do to make a better kit for you all (as well as myself ).

By the way, I've gotten started on your kit so I'll be hammering it out here in a few more days hopefully and have it in the mail soon. thanks again!

Ive painted up some of the armor I have from you....everything but the gaunts and knees are done. Here are a few pics...I know some of the damage is off, so keep in mind this is my first attempt at painting Boba armor. BFETT pictures by TK9039 - Photobucket

I am not really doing a WIP...but figured I would throw these up.

My knee kit is on it's way! If anyone can link me to their builds/colours that would be awesome. I am in need of some weathering tips and what yellow to use. I have bought some aluminium knee darts too. I need to know what yellow to use and how to get that speckily used look to them. Cheers.

Re: IOA ROTJ Fett Armor kits Version 2 - Now available

Just want to give everyone a heads up about the plastic I've been using. I've now officially phased out the 'haircell' texture (eliminating that ugly bumpy/wavyness to my pulls) and have now been able to source full batch orders of smooth/smooth ABS. As soon as I get caught up on orders I'll pull a few sets and take some up close photos to post.
Anyone ordering armor from here on out (not to mention for the last few weeks and those currently in queue) will be receiving the smooth stuff. Thanks again!
    -RKD

EDIT - I totally forgot to mention that the above applies only to the black plastic. I currently only have the white 1/8" inch in 'haircell'.
At the moment, I've got an order of .090 white on the way, but if anyone will want the white without the 'haircell' texture, they'll have to go with the thinner white stuff. Sorry about any confusion on that. Please hit me up if you have any questions, thanks!!

I just got my box yesterday wilth the full White Kit.(black knees and gaunts) And i tell you this stuff is premium! And when it comes to customer support RKD is just amazing. Even tho i know it isnt so this guy makes you feel like your order is the only one he has and you are like the most important customer he has. I have mailed a couple of times during the process of this sale, with lots of questions and worries. And always a very friendly, swift and polite reply, not once have i felt that i was a pain in the A**. Wich im sure i must have been sometimes! =) If or when RKD starts to include all the greeblies like kneedarts dental expander, rockets and such, his kit will be up there with the top makers of this site. And at a very reasonable price!! And for you who are like me, a little worried about sending your money across the world to a guy you dont really know to get some armor you only ever seen on pictures. Rest assured this guy delivers premium stuff, and are the most stand up guy you can imagine!!

Thanks RKD! Just dont burn yourself out, it is a hobby you know! =)

Re: IOA ROTJ Fett Armor kits Version 2 - Now available

    Fred,
Thanks so much for this feedback bro. You were a great customer and FAR from being a pain in the @$$. Every question you had for me was valid and so were your concerns about the international shipping, so no worries bro...I'm just glad that the powers that be got the package to you ok cause we all know those people can screw it up right? lol

On another related note, as a customer and a costumer myself, I absolutely hate it when you're dealing with someone online and after they get your money cease all communication with you. I believe in the exact opposite, ESPECIALLY when conducting an online transaction. Communication is key because that's the only way that person can stay in touch with you. When someone stops talking to me after they have my money that really makes me nervous and I know it's the same for everyone else.
I want everyone to know that when you deal with me that will not happen and I swore that if I ever became a vendor I would not be like that because I know how it feels to be on the receiving end. I will be there every step of the way until you have the armor in your hands...in fact, as far as I'm concerned the transaction is not completed until you DO have the armor.

You're right though, Fred, about making all my customers feel like they're the only one I have AND the most important one that I have (in a way that's true). I may not have the best, most accurate armor, but it is very good quality and I try to make up for it in price and service cause that's the way I would want to be treated if I was buying from someone...that's all there is to it. Just treat people good and give them a good product at a great price and it always comes back around to you That's proven very true for me in this community.

I do have some plans to eventually start offering the greeblies for the gaunts and the darts for the knee kits but right now I'm still trying to work out some bugs...that's all I'll say for now till I'm ready to reveal how I'm going to be making them (you all might be pleasantly surprised )

For now, I've upgraded to the smooth/smooth plastic for all the black armor (as stated before a few posts ago) so that's another step up in the right direction I'll be posting up some pics of those pieces soon here, hopefully in a few days so stay tuned...more good stuff to come!

You're going to like the knees--they will be worth waiting for. Be sure to check out RKD's youtube tutorial on assembling them and take your time and use consideration when trimming.

Keep me posted on those brotha. It might take another week although from what pocus (Fred) told me is that a lot of times the shipment will be in the destination country already but often times gets held up in customs so you might even consider checking with them as it could possibly already be there. Unfortunately with USPS there's no option for tracking an international shipment and UPS and FedEx charges absurd amounts to ship stuff overseas (often times more than what the armor is worth).
But so far I've had excellent success with all shipments and have not lost one yet (knock on wood).

Glad that tutorial worked out for you Fettered

@Fettistics - I offer full kits or piece by piece if you wish... so you don't have to buy the whole shebang at once if you can't afford it...it's the same price either way. I also do payment plans but all installments are non-refundable so please keep that in mind. Send me a pm if you're interested and we'll talk, sound good?

Just assembling my knees now, and just wondering about the knee darts... I have some evolution aluminium knee darts. I was just thinking, when they're mounted do they angle out away from the knee or are they parallel with the side of the knee? Cheers

They should come out straight...parallel with the knee I guess (if I'm thinking the same thing as you). Here's some pics of my painted knees, hope that helps -

Ok, cool. How do you drill them half way into the knees so they're flat? As I held the knee dart onto the flat panel and the panel is at an angle so it angled it away from the knee pad. I have some knee darts that have a bolt at the back...

in other news here is my painted knees:

I haven't glued the knee dart sections on yet as they need to be drilled. Cheers

I drilled mine last week. Since you've already painted, be sure to mask off the area you will be drilling. Start with a small pilot hole centered where you want the dart launcher to ensure your larger bit doesn't walk. Then select a bit that is the same diameter as the dart you are working with. Simply hold the drill parallel with the side of the knee as you drill--add pressure somewhat slowly and make a clean hole. Because you are angling the bit in relation to the surface you are drilling into, the hole will be slightly oblong, which is what you are trying to achieve. You may need to do a very small amount of filing to get it just right, but you should be very close if not perfect with the drilling alone.

I know how to drill the hole, but then how does the knee dart stay in it once it's been drilled? As I have some Evolution props ones that have screws at the bottom.

Sorry, I misunderstood. You have a few options--adhesives, some type of mechanical connection or maybe magnets. With adhesives it is pretty self explanatory. For the other options you will need to mount some sort of bracket inside to either accept a screw or bolt or to hold onto a magnet. I would personally not go the magnet route for these pieces--they are a little too vulnerable to being knocked off, I think. Plus if you already have screw-type mounts why switch? I thought I saw a picture somewhere of a bracket mounted in one of RKD's knees, but I have no idea where that was.

Ok cheers guys. I'm assuming epoxy resin would hold the knee darts in that hole nice and snug?

So you made a bench effectively for the darts to screw & glue into? Smart... I'll see what I can do... I have no plastic left unfortunately as I ****ed up the gluing process of the plastic strips on the side pieces... haha. Whooops.

Yep that's pretty much exactly what I did
Let me know if you need any extra strips of styrene or ABS, I can send you some I have tons of extra scrap always lying around..you'll probably just have to pay postage since you're so far away, otherwise if you were in the states I'd just send you some for free

Well, I haven't got the time to wait for them to arrive. I will probably just epoxy the darts to the hole I drilled, so they're tight in, but I might encase and cushion the rear with hot glue to strengthen it even more Cheers though! Do you like the paint up? I think I'm going to give them a thin once over with black spray paint.

Oh yeah..I didn't think about that lol. Perhaps you have a local plastic supply store around you that sells scraps or a hobby store that sells modeling plastics? Worth a shot anyway.
Which paint up are you referring to? On the knees? I didn't see your pics anywhere...or am I just missing them?
I did the black spray paint thing as well, works great! Just give it a light misting along with some tapping of the nozzle to give it a little splatter effect too

Haha, cheers mate. I have glued them in and I am going to encase the back of them in Car Body Filler which dries rock solid. (Y). The pictures of mine were linked up there ^. But here they are again, I'll be posting a photo later of them again, as this photo doesn't have the black misting or the knee darts...

Re: IOA ROTJ Fett Armor kits Version 2 - Now available

Hi mate, turns out the armour I have is ROTJ when I need ESB. Apparently my knees are the wrong colour but I'm going to get some confirmation on it... As I was very proud with them! >.< I may have to buy the complete set. It looks like a lot of work!! >.< I would be happy to sand the edges etc and trim them but I don't have a drill or much, so if you could cut the 2 holes for the red light read out, that would be awesome. Is there many differences on the armour plates themselves as I didn't think that ESB had a huge flamethrower, so I may go for MOW gaunts but you for all the other armour :P What have you got ESB style bro?

    Hi Jay!
I can certainly take care of those chest display readout slots for you for an extra fee. I'll also need EXACT measurements of them. As far as the differences between ROTJ and ESB, I believe it's only the right shoulder bell and the backplate (dent wise). All the other pieces are the same to the best of my knowledge.
I make all the ESB parts as far as armor goes. I don't make the greeblies for the gaunts though (yet)

Feel free to hit me up if you have any other questions

Great Price, and from the pics his armor look pretty good, so I am one happy, exited fett.

Anyway I will keep everyone upto date.

Re: IOA ROTJ Fett Armor kits Version 2 - Now available

Thanks a ton guys! I'm really glad that I can offer a product that people like and that they recommend to others. As I've stated before, customer service, honesty, and communication is VERY important to me and I know what it feels like to be on the receiving end of a bad customer experience... something I vowed will not happen with me if I ever decided to get into the game of being an armor producer.
I will always be accessible to anyone and everyone here (yes even AFTER I get your money, lol...we all know how that is right?? ). I may not always be able to get back to everyone right away, but always no more than a day (due to my work schedule and not having access to a computer while I'm there), so have no worries in that dept.

Pablo, I got the first payment bro thanks! Email replied
Steve, thanks again for your business and please let me know when your package arrives. Thanks!

Re: IOA ROTJ Fett Armor kits Version 2 - Now available

I agree with those two. I bought my knees, and RKD was very supportive in terms of answering queries I had not to mention how enthusiastic he comes across in terms of "helping a brother out" as it were. :P

RKD - Looks like I'll be making an order soon. Just need to get paid for one more bit of design work then I can do it. This is what I'm after:

    - Chest Armour w/ chest display holes cut out (If that's OK?)
    - Shoulder Armour
    - Back Armour w/ harness holes cut out (If that's OK?)
    - Collar Armour
    - Cod Armour
    - Butt Armour

In terms of the chest holes, I am making a display out of a bike light, some acetate and the numbers printed on another bit of acetate... ha thank god for TK-409. So I don't know if you know the dimensions best for the ESB kit? Cheers.

Cheers mate. I will be buying from you eventually (unless someone magically comes into selling some good painted armour for cheaper :P). However, my housemate just decided to move out. :'( so I am now forced to find a new house. So I'm going to wait a month until I have a house :P Sorry to mess you about RKD.

I got my stuff from RKD today.
I must admit it got down here quicker than I expected and I am so impressed with it.
Sturdy, nice clean sharp details and the 'rough trimming' is excellent.
Now I can go full tilt at my ESB Fett.

Your armor(along with just about everything from members here) got some national airplay--hopefully I represented the Fett well. Thought you might enjoy seeing this! 501st and Rebel Legion in the 2011 McDonald's Thanksgiving Day Parade - YouTube
