Just wanted to start a thread seeing if there is any interest in ROTJ Emperor cloak clasps? I sculpted this for myself as im now along with vader going for a 501st accurate Palpatine suit. But after seeing that GuntahKela no longer has his molds and coming by the MR clasp seperate from the cane is not easy, id figure id offer some here. The two pics below are of the uncured sculpey sculpt (being cured as i type). Once its is completely cooled and hardened i'll be sanding it smooth and also using my rotary wheel to sharpen and smooth the details a bit more. Then i'll give it a shot of primer to see if any deformities exist. Resand and clear coat it. Haven't ordered the silicone or the urethene resin for the clasp yet, but it will be cast in smooth on onyx black resin. That way no paint chips can occur and then it will be buffed and given a thick clear glaze for depth.
At this time i would just like to see interest. I will go ahead and say that i'll probably only charge around 25 shipped on these. Once i cast the first prototype and make sure everything is fine, i'll put up a sign up list. so just post here if you are interested and on to the pics. (feel free to make any suggestions as i can easily add or take away detail.)
