    Sep 7, 2014, 10:59 AM - Interest: ROTJ EE3 Kits ICONIC #1

Recently I made a lot of progress on my ee3 kits.

I have the new barrel all done minus the T tracks. The rest of the gun is ready to go. I am looking for a place to print the T track mold and I should be able to have the gun that I have wanted to product up to my standards.

I am trying to order what is the most in demand. I am torn between interior kits and ROTJ guns. If we choose ROTJ guns I should be ready for the run in a week. I need to get the T track mold printed and shipped to me and I should have everything for a full kit.

It will have a wooden stock. Resin scope. Full ICONIC quality body, all greebles. You will need a sling to complete.

Just a post saying your interested will help me tally up and decide if I should do some sculpting on the interiors first, or do the rotj ee3's.

I am excited to do this kit finally. It should rival my ESB kits.

    UPDATE------------------------

First of the rotj pieces came out of the mold today. You tell me. Clean? I did it in silver because you couldn't see _any_ seam lines in black, and I wanted to show how paper thin they were.

No cleanup. No filling. Straight from mold, and exacted off the vents.

The barrel extender and rest of gun body and barrel / tip done today. Ill put it together for a quick shot. The greebles are already done.

    This just leaves the T-Tracks.

They will be virtually unbreakable. Rubber scope. Rubber tip. PVC barrel. Hard plastic body/D racket. I will attempt to make most of the body solid rubber too, and it will work great, but the D bracket needs to be hard plastic in order to make it not wobble. The stock could go either way. Probably expanded rigid foam that is virtually unbreakable.

Im ordering the T Track print tomorrow. Should be great.

Im making them. And im excuted. this should be the cleanest version I have done of any ee3 yet by the way things are starting.

    Should be virtually unbreakable also.

It will include wooden stock, and EVERYTHING to finish the kit. The price is between 220 and 280 depending on what the stocks cost me and whether or not I have the T tracks or whether you need to order them (from Gino or the like 15-30 usd)

It should be a great balance rubber and solid for a trooping blaster with virtually no cleanup.

I have a few pics I can post tomorrow already.

First look at the new ROTJ gun body fresh from the mold. Warning: This will hurt. Did it in silver because youcouldnt see the detail in black for the photos. This has not been cleaned at all. or filled.

Ok, I have what I think is arguably the nicest ROTJ EE3 in kit form available for the price. Which I am not raising. I expect this, with real wooden stock to be under 250. It will come in black, but as pictured below. I am working on the T track mold right now. And the greebles are already done.

I realize that theres a small market for this at the moment, but this might be one of my best items yet. So, feedback please (this is a fresh from mold, just cut off the vents with an exacto pull done in silver to show detail).

Of course when I say its the best, I am bias. There are a lot of great kits. Please take that as a jest.

The kit will be the complete kit nothing else needed except a leather sling if you want one.

And there really isn't any cleanup needed either. I am also looking at putting a metal armature in the grip, so the d brack should be unbreakable also.

I am only doing a short run of 3-5 to start. As soon as I have 3 commitments on this list, ill do the run, ill have the guns done before the run starts.

As soon as I mail today ill post a pic of the final blaster (unpainted, the T tracks are brown and the barrel is white, but youll get the point.)
