Pricing for the newest kits with the lighted sequenced segments, 7 leds, green screen, and dummy electronics are $179 with a wall adapter or $174 with a battery adapter. This includes shipping within the U.S., please add $15 for international shipping.

Here is a picture of what's included in the kit if you get the wall adapter. You can see the arduino above the two lit panels just so I could show it, but it folds back behind the leds for installation. Everything fits nicely in the panel. A lot of time has been spent spacing and creating the additional 7 led strip to align properly in your volvo panel.

Here is a screenshot showing how the screen pattern I made is a perfect match (outer edges are wide to allow room for installation, dimensions are perfectly matched when installed)

The flash sequences are very accurate to the movies. I spent hours analyzing the movies frame by frame, taking screenshots, and matching each individual segment, 13 segments total across the 4 displays. The kits now have two flash sequences, stasis (regular) sequence that was in my first kits, and now the unfreeze (fast) sequence added, as well as an off selection on the knob! I have ground a flat on the shaft of the switch so the knob tightens securely to it via the hidden set screw. I didn't want to shorten the shaft though since people with different versions of the volvo panel may need slightly different length knobs to be perfect. It is easily cut with a hacksaw or rotary tool to the exact length you need.

Going to make an add-on kit to include the 7 other LEDs on the panel (3 white, 2 red, 2 orange). It will probably be an option for new orders, and I will offer just these lights pre-wired for those that already have my kits. If you want to add these to your existing kit, you will only need to solder a couple wires to your switch, very easy to do. The lights are static, i.e. not controlled separately but will turn on when the other lights are on, and off when the other lights are off.

The camera doesn't capture the light emitted that well, but they are all about the same brightness.

Here's a vid of the newest kit with 7 leds added. The video isn't the greatest quality so it's hard to tell the difference between the red and orange leds (reds are on the outside), and the whites look brighter than they really are but it looks even better in person. The spacing is a bit wider to give you some extra wire to work with for easier installation in the panel.

Probably a stupid question, but does it have to be a choice between wall adapter and battery adapter? Would it be possible to have it so it's wired to the wall if I have it on display at home but that I can pop a battery in if I want to take it elsewhere for display?

Not a stupid question at all! Either type of power supply can be swapped out for the other, they both have the same connector and are plug and play. I can include both adapters for a few extra dollars.
