    Han In Carbonites: Silver Imperfects

I typically sell the silvers for 400 shipped US.

I sell the blacks for 375.

Theres no reason to buy a silver, if your going to paint it. However, the silver doesnt effect the painting at all.

I have three silvers that are done and ready to ship. One has a couple of spots where the rubber staid tacky (about dime/nickel LENGTH hairlines) in part of the flat outer surface. It would cover with paint but can be seen if you look for it on the silver. No one that has looked at it knew what I was talking about until I showed them.

The second one I wanted to try to make it thicker in spots. So the details were more solid. It has solid hands, a thick face, thickened toes, and other spots thickened.

The problem with thickening it is that it does not lay perfectly flat on a perfectly flat surface. To mount it, someone would have to build up the surface in spots for it to lay perfect. Not a big deal, can be done a number of ways, and most wouldnt notice it, but I do.

Therefor these two silvers that can be displayed until you make a prop, are for sale for the price of the blacks.

    375 shipped in the US

Outside, the shipping rates apply from the thread in the prop building area.

I also have a very very silver one, made with silver coldcast instead of gunmetal. It looks like solid aluminum (actually the color it is in the transport scenes with good lighting on bespin).

    Heres the pic
    ALso 375 shipped.

Im likely not going to do anymore silvers after these. So if your wanting one to display, id get on these. The powder is costing me a lot more and they are more than doubling the amount of time it takes me. So this would be a great deal to get on now. The silvers, if I do them, will be a LOT more expensive. At least 100 US.

PM me or post here if your interested. I can shoot you a pic of the HIC your interested in.

    Thanks
    M2

They all lay flat. With the exception of the really thick one. And it lays close to flat. Theres just a couple of 'lumps' on the underside that make it not perfect.

The others dont lay perfectly flat, no, because I beef up the edgtes of the creases a bit. But this one has one or two spots, that dont pass my QA for a perfect cast.

I used a fillet knife and cut a lump off no problem, but im not going to ship one thats been backtrimmed by me. I just dont like to do that. Its got a perfect front, but will take some work to mount.

Im all done with the silvers at this point. I didnt order more powder today, and im out, so the silver cold cast are done. This is the last of them.
