How comfortable are these "screen accurate" ones? With just metal rods pressing against your back, doesn't seem that fun to wear. Have never tried one on, so asking those that have. LOL

I actually never got to use it. I picked up bits and pieces but never had a chance to complete the costume.

When it gets in and I have some time (hopefully this weekend) I'll let you know how it feels mated up to the JP. I'm also curious since previously for my project I was using a vest.

Cool, thanks. I've been using an old Viet Nam era U.S. Army radio backpack frame (modified and some foam added for cushion) since 1999 with my jetpack. Having seen more guys with the screen accurate style around the last few years.....being a skinny guy, I just feared the metal bars would be bashing my ribs as I would troop with one. LOL

See and my fear was the opposite. Being a beer-bellied guy I'm wondering how it will feel/look.
