Dec 14, 2013, 1:35 PM - FS: Asok Jango and Boba Fett Run Started #1

    Hello TDH Memeber!

I have had a number of people contact me about a run of the helmets that Bill and I had been providing so I am opening up a run of them. I have the Boba GMH, a budget Boba Kit and a Jango Kit.

Prices below reflect shipping in the Continental US. If you are outside of that area I will still ship to you but there will be an extra charge that is variable based on where you live.

One question that I am asked a lot that I would like to answer here is if I provide the visor. While in the past I was able to get them, my local source for them is unavailable at this time.

The other question that I am regularly asked is what is the wait time? Generally the wait is about a month, but can vary depending on how many people contact me. It also varies depending on the helmet.

If you have any questions please contact me at Asok@187thlegion.com

The following is the information pertaining to each of the helmets that I provide.

The Boba Fett GMH kit is $255 shipped in the continental US.
    Included are the following parts:

GMH Helmet - in cold cast aluminum
    Ears and Ear Cap
    3 Part Range Finder
    Solid Aluminum Range Finder Stalk
    MQ-1 Board

Thanks JC. Yeah, things are slowly getting back to what I guess you could call normal around here. It's been a long process.

Dave, so glad the helmet made the journey overseas ok. I stress about those sometimes.

Xanthis, thanks. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of him.

Christy, I am in need of a Solid Aluminum Range Finder Stalk. Do you sell those seperately? If so, how much?

BurqueDave, Yes I do. I will send you a PM shortly. Oh and trust me, the real Asok is still around. He would haunt me if I didn't do things to his standards. LOL!

Thanks guys for all the orders and questions I have been receiving!

Very impressive looking kits you have there! Very interested in one of these for my first helmet, but I have a quick question. What's the size difference between the GMH helmet and the CC budget helmet?
I heard the GHM is a bit on the smaller side when compared to most helmets, or at least that's what I've read from a bit of research, so I would assume the budget kit is a bit larger (then again I could be wrong). Is it a big difference? I guess you can say my head is a bit smaller than average, so normally I would want to go with the GHM but since this would be my first lid I'd rather use the budget kit to practice on and such as long as it's not a whole lot bigger.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Ah....shoot I can't find where I wrote the measurements down. Yes, the GMH is slightly smaller than the Budget helmet. I have a budget in the mold now, that I will be pulling in the morning so I will be able to let you know more accurately the difference in size, but it's about a 1/2-1 inch difference. I will send you a PM in the morning more info as well as posting it here.

Ok, sorry for the delay, things have been a little crazy with the snow and sub-zero temperatures around here. Here are the measurements of the two Boba Helmets.

All measurements are of the interior.

    Budget kit:
    Height 10 1/2 inches
Front to back 10 1/2 inches
    Width 10 inches

    GMH:

    Height 10 inches
    Front to back 10 inches
    Width 9 inches

Received Budget Helmet. If you're looking for a Fett Helmet... LOOK NO FURTHER. I can't stress enough how awesome it is. Great communication, fast shipping... Amazing quality. Thanks ASOK. (EDITED) I'm fairly certain I've seen this question... But, I can't find the answer again! Is it necessary to do a Layer of Fiberglass in this thing? I've seen threads saying the resin could warp (I can't fathom these thick resin walls warping though...)

You do not need to fiberglass these helmets. Unless you leave these in high heat like in a car in the summer or leave them with pressure on them such as burying them under a bunch of stuff you probably won't have to worry about warping.

Basically if you take care of it in a sensible way it will be fine for a very long time.
