After many months of working on it, the kit is finally ready to show off. The kit comes with a low profile servo, transmitter with Alco switches, servo coupler, controller board, and 4 AA battery holder. It can run on either 4 AA batteries (lithium or alkaline) or a 6v rechargeable battery pack. A set of instructions is also included in either PDF or MS Word. The instructions do not provide step by step installation, but rather a couple of ways that the kit can be installed. This is because of all the different helmet and RF stalk makers, there is no way for me to write a "one size fits all" installation guide.

Although the instructions have some good ideas of how to install the servo and connect the stalk, the kit will probably require a little inginuity to get everything to fit. The kit uses a standard 315 MHz transmitter/receiver combo that are not keyed to each other, so it is very likely that the kit could be triggered by another person that has the same kit. I am looking into having each R/T keyed to only the parts included in each kit, but I am not sure if it is possible using the parts that are in the kit. The micro-controller code will come pre-loaded, so everything should work right out of the box.
