thanks DVH. the links didn't work. i'm not really looking to get super technical...i'd be happy with basic pass or some level 2 stuff on the 501st. i'm planning on trooping this suit pretty heavily and i'd be terrified to break anything that is hard to find. i'm probably just going to build the tools out of sintra and bondo. but if someone has some for sell, I wouldn't mind buying them. saves me work, and they get cash! win, win

Gotcha..the found part tools are still currently made so they arent hard to get. I want to eventually offer resin shin tools cast off the found parts but unfortunately i dont have molds yet.

Are two of the print squeegees required for the shin tools?

No, just one is all you need. It gets cut up, and one of the pieces forms part the third shin tool.

So $50 plus shipping then find a suitable jetpack adjustment tool, and then just some cutting / painting and you got your four tools right?

For the 3rd tool (anti-security blade?) you'll also need two of the Mitchell stylus brush handles. MojoFett makes them, and JodoKast might be making them too now. If you'd rather do it on the cheap, find a couple aluminum X-Acto knife handles with the knurled ends. You also need to find a sheet of plastic to cut out for the black 'blade' part.

For the fourth shin tool, I used a spare piece of aluminum tubing and glued in an old XLR female jack into the end. I think that in one of the pre-pro suit photos you can kind of see the prongs in the socket of the shin tool. I'll probably 'upgrade' to a real pencil condenser mic once one of the matched pair I own pops the diaphragm.
