Unfortunately, interest has dropped off and we didn't make anywhere near the minimum quantity :doh. I am, therefore, going ahead with the run anyway :D.

I will be visiting the fabricator and placing the order Friday, 5 Feb.

I'm hoping more people will jump on this. This is a really good price for metal work.

Terry is actually needing to adjust his prices up, and I've posted all the info on this run on the RPF as well, just to help get this going.

And, no, this is not a paid advertisement; I just don't want people to miss out and then three months from now they'll be going, "How did I miss that thread? Are there any left?"

I don't know of any differences between the Boba JP's and Jango Arena JP's that would suggest not. Maybe someone knows otherwise, but I am under the impression that the bodies are the same.

I as always have been looking around TDH with nothing else better to do and having a sponge for a brain...saw the differences in the Jango JP harness and Boba JP harness earlier today... I read and saw that the Jango sits higher on the backplate and has black attachments using the sideclips i guess...two up top and one in the center of the bottom...but the harness rig for sure can be used for the arena JP

really good to know, I just wanted to see where the connections where going to be on the arena Jetpack before I commit. It wouldn't have been a deal breaker, but I just wanted to make sure I could use this for the jetpack

yeh heres pics of the upper attachment there way easier than the Boba attachments the bottom is the same thing just one in the center...which i would do two for stability

Another update. I hope you don't mind, but I have decided not to send you an incomplete harness. I have ordered all the parts necessary to give you a completed harness, minus the U.S. Divers buckle.

I sewed up one harness and it feels great! Once the straps are adjusted, the thing doesn't move. And, it's very comfortable. Unlike some soft harnesses, you don't need to crush yourself in the straps. Nice and snug does it.

You have been SOOOO patient, I figure you deserve it. Your harness will come as follows:

Stainless Steel Harness Assembly
Upper and lower shoulder straps sew in place. Upper strap with double D-ring adjusters sewn in.
Waist straps sewn in place.
White 1-1/2" Jet Pack straps sewn in place with tri-glide adjusters and hook rings.
Upper Jet Pack hooks and backing plates.
Lower Jet Pack hooks and backing plates.
All hardware for mounting hooks.

I hope you don't mind the inconvenience of another week or so? I can't wait to sent these out to you!

Cant wait to try this bad boy on. Im curious though, what sort of modification is needed to the bottom half of your flak vest if any. I have a vest that has a zipper in back and not sure if thats going to be an issue.

So i got a buyer for my wheels! Now he needs to pay me so I can pay you for one of these Terry! Im a definite now!

My vest zips up, so I made two 1" vertical cuts at the width of the vertical tubes. Works perfectly.

I'm doing a show Toledo, Ohio at the moment. Will be home Monday, 29 March. I hear that I have received a bunch of packages at home, I guessing it's the parts i need to complete the harness. Should be ready to ship before the end of next week.

I can't get over the fact your using Stainless...That's some strong material to bend and weld and it's expensive $$..Love the mounting backplate design for the hooks "great Idea"! Again, terrific job BBF.

Been a little busy lately, but I just wanted to chime in real quick to let you know the harness arrived yesterday, safe and sound, actually got here faster than I was expecting. All you guys who are waiting on your harnesses still are in for a treat for sure..I got my harness a few weeks ago and I was pretty amazed at it...rock solid construction, the whole thing looks like it was designed for a real jetpack of some sort haha...and the diver's buckle is an awesome touch...everything adjusts perfectly, and it doesnt sit awkward at all....definately worth the money, and I can't wait to get my jetpack back and get the mounting points in so I can try the whole thing on!!!

I highly recommend these harnesses! The craftmanship is incredible! Pictures don't do it justice and they are fairly priced. BBF's customer service is also second to none. I can't believe how strong these things are and it is not easy to work with steel.

Terry finally getting online after returning home...And when I opened the package from you I was expecting greatness...being the ammo belts are so nice, you exceeded my expectations no surpirse. The Harness webbing is awesome the metal work more awesome the welds look top notch. And to top it off yuo threw in the buckle which is amazing looking, I also had gotten a full metal fett one and yours just looks more legit, its stamped and not laser etched which looks more correct IMHO...thanks brother I think you did an amazing job with this!

Have just returned home, and it's great to be back! I'll be tied up the next few days with contractors here at the house that are a bit behind schedule. Work was supposed to have been completed before I returned...darn!

Well friends, I am back :D. Got home sick as a dog, but home I am. As I stated in an earlier post, both my sewing machines took dumps just before I left. On my return, I did manage to get them to Singer for repair but they will not be ready anytime soon.

However, yesterday I paid another visit to the Singer store. I had a moment of temporary insanity :doh and bought a commercial sewing machine. It was delivered the same day. Doing some reading this morning and hope to be up and running this afternoon.

Though it was great performing again, I did not enjoy the time away from home and TDH. I am going to stay retired this time. The Dented Helmet and serving its members are my priority.
