BatNinja's Fett Vests/Neckseals

Here is the information for the current run. First paid, first sewn, first shipped.

The price per vest is $110.00 USD, shipping included. Neckseals are $50.00 USD, shipping included. I prefer PayPal, but will also accept money orders (no personal checks!). I do not offer a discount for sets or combined shipping, as I still have to create all the pieces and, as mentioned before, the shipping is included in the original price.

VESTS: I offer these vests in four basic sizes: M (38-40”), L (42-44”), XL (46-48”) and XXL (50-52”). In other words, if you wear a Large T-shirt, then a Large vest should fit you fine. I’m using 1 ½” Velcro for the closure, so there is plenty of ‘wiggle’ room for individual size adjustment. I do NOT do custom orders. The liner is made of a standard bottom-weight fabric, usually white cotton twill, depending on whatever I have available. The sleeves are quilted with 3/4" vertical top-stitching, and both the front and back sides of the vest are padded. I do not add strap-holes or Velcro to the vest, as many people have different preferred attachment methods. These alterations can be done by most any local seamstress or alterations shop.

NECKSEALS: I’ll need a measurement of your neck at the widest point, usually across the Adam’s Apple, in inches. For closure, I include a small tab with Velcro attached that sits behind the seam across the neck. I am not doing dickies at this time, due to the amount of fabric needed (for movie-accuracy, the neckseal is intended to be sewn directly to your jumpsuit). If I have scraps left over after the run, I’ll post a thread at that time.

Actually, the neckseal, although the same fabric as the vest, is turned inside out. So they don't appear to match at all anyway. As long as the fabric is setup this way (and its the same fabric), it shouldn't matter which seamstress sews either piece, as they will appear movie-accurate. If the base fabric for the neckseal is different than the vest, well, that is an issue.

But I understand your concerns.

Ideally, I do the vest run first, and then the neckseals on a separate run. Sorry for the confusion.

You know Im interested, what kinda timeline are we looking at I have 8 months till I return to the US as it is...Ive been putting off getting a neck seal and vest actually. I would like to have the best this time around. My ROTJ one was nice but for my ESB Im going all out...so with that said, put me down for a vest, and if you do a neck seal run as well put me at the top of the list. Im sure youll have no issue filling up the slots for either. Maybe link the JB Project stuff so people who are newer have a clue as to what kind of product you offer....and MAKE THE NECK SEAL PLEASE

It looks there is a valid need for vests and neckseals out there! I'll contact the fabric merchant on Monday to make sure we can meet the minimum order. Once I confirm that, I'll edit this thread to the production side.

Turn around time, if I'm doing 10-15 sets, would be first paid, first sewn, and shipped upon completion per individual. I hope to have the entire run completed in a month or so, depending on the number of orders.
But yes, I would say that everyone should have their vests/neckneals long before Celebration VI.

Just an FYI, guys, there is no difference between ESB and ROTJ vests/neckseals. They are the same, so you don't need to qualify the version.

Yeah, I know how you feel, Reaper, and sorry for the late shipping!

I wanted to get everything out the door a couple weeks ago before Dallas All-Con, but kept running into roadblocks. The most recent one: this past weekend, I stumbled into part-time gig as a dueling piano player! It is my hope to get the remaining orders out the door on or before Friday, so I can concentrate on a possible career change!
