I paid almost four months ago already and I haven't heard anything since two months ago when he asked for my shipping address and I'm still stuck "in progress".

Stuff like this is why I sometimes just want to quit my build. This was supposed to be fun but nonsense like this takes all that fun away and makes me rethink if it'll even be worth it. Why take on commissions if you can't follow through within a reasonable time?

Hi Guys, I have never interacted with Taco but I encourage you to please remain patient. I've been around long enough to see where people got burned etc. but please choose to have positive intent. I don't think anyone on here makes their full time living from this, so for them real life comes first and then commissions.

That said, 60 days is a long time without contact. 4 months is a LONG time to not hear back...I apologize that you have had that experience. The good news is that this forum is pretty transparent so you should get your answer soon.

    Dear taco
We understand that hard times fell upon you earlier in the year
Just let us know if something else has come up and that it will get done.
We all have issues just let us know if there's a problem so atleast people will stop bumping.
Well except for morten, he gets a pass on that

Yeah well **** happens. I'm not saying it right but in the past when he had issues when he overcame them he got things done. Everyone who put money on a belt after Christmas knew he has had issues so you took a risk.
And if you didn't know then maybe you should do research before you buy something from someone you don't know.
Yes he does not reply at times but eventually he pops up.

He flat out told everyone he was retiring because of issues but people still started throwing money at him "one more belt please". Last time he broke a needle it took awhile to get a new one. I sent him money just like everyone else but do I harass him no. He gave no one specific shipping dates. Everyone take a Percocet and a shot of 151 and cool out

Not to stir things up, but you don't know what Taco told customers as far as shipping dates go. For example, I was told 2 week turnaround at the beginning of December. Communication was great up until payment was sent. Then...well...I won't get into the months that ensued. Asking for an update is not harassing someone in my opinion. My point is, these folks DO have a reason to be upset. All they really want is an update, some form of communication from Taco. I believe that he will step up and get these orders out. He managed to do that eventually in my case, but please don't give these people the "it's your own fault", "you should've known better" routine when you don't know what private communication they've had with this seller at the time of ordering. That being said, I hope Taco is alright. I know he has legitimate health problems. I still don't think that absolves him of the responsibility of giving some type of update to these people.

First of all I never said he wouldn't deliver but if you look back and see this is his pattern. I fully was aware that he does some, handles his own thing then does some more. If he gave you a timeline via pm then fine, but he never gave me a date.

Re: 99centtaco Leather Ammo Belts & Slings - Retirement

I'm in the same boat as bcurtis, He answered every PM in Dec/Jan and said he was going to get my belt shipped by Tues, January 14. As soon as I sent payment, none of my PM's were ever answered again. Got a pm in March asking what address I wanted it shipped to and then he disappeared again.

Can I open up a F/S thread myself and just hold onto people's money too? This is ridiculous.

Just wondering if there will be any more updates. I ordered the rifle sling back in June 2013, and I still haven't received it.
