Hunter
For those who'd like to know, a handful of really good costume creators have put into an attempt to standardize Zam somewhat. The one who put it in writing (at the BHG) and frequents this board, has given permission for me to bring it in here for you guys to see. So I'm simply pasting it directly:

Okay, here is my first go. I did my best. I'm looking for input. We need to get this done. I have not touched the blaster or rifle yet.
COLORS ARE PLACEHOLDERS AND WILL BE DESCRIBED MORE ACCURATELY ONCE WE NAIL IT DOWN. ZAM CRL MUST ACCOUNT FOR VARIATIONS OF COLOR GIVEN HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO FIND CORRECT FABRIC AND THE VARIATIONS BETWEEN PROMO PHOTOS, SCREEN SHOTS, AND THE TOURING SUIT WHICH HAS FADED OVER TIME.

I'm looking forward to seeing what is put in print for the blaster and rifle. My husband said he could machine the rifle's scope and powercell(?). Having the CRL for it AND the printed pictures of the official weapons ought to put his work in the ball park of pro work.

But I'm getting ahead of myself.

There had been an adjusted one submitted mid-June. I haven't seen anything posted about it approved yet, but then again they had some issues with the site and it probably took a back seat until the BHG was back up running. Hopefully soon is all I can say.

HoundsTooth, posted at the BHG by Webchief:

"It's actually been uploaded and I posted the link here (up above) on June 20th. http://www.501st.com...g:BH_zam_wesell I just need to take the time to PhotoShop the great photos Donny sent me and upload them. In the meantime, if Donny can write up the CRL portion for the weapons and any Level 2/3 additions that'd be great."

So, the original post I made is darn close to the one being accepted. But I'd get the CRL anyways. Just to be safe. I'm dying to know what the Level 2 and 3 are going to entail.

I was thinking the mask, for certain. And maybe the weapons (and tiny tiny nuances in the costume overall) look dead on actual movie prop. Just a guess.
