New girl in town...

New Hunter
Hello, my name is Angela and well....I'm new here. I'm currently the Squad Leader for the MosNooga Squad based in Chattanooga, TN and have been in the 501st Legion since 2008. My first costume was a female Tusken, but then I made a Biker Scout and have been wearing that one ever since. I got some of my family to join the Legion too. My husband, mom and dad are members and my son has trooped with me since the beginning. Now, I finally think I'm ready to start on the costume I wanted to do since I joined....make a Zam. I realize this one is a bit more difficult, but I'm ready for the challenge....now to begin.

Here are a couple of pics of me in my biker, and my Tusken.

Oh, that's when I was vacationing on Tattooine. It was pretty dry. Good news though....got my Zam helmet ordered. Part one of many, so many ideas going through my head.

Wow...it's hard to believe it's been close to a year since I started this post. Happy to say though I'm getting close to finishing this costume. So far I have the helmet done, the shins, all the greeblies and armor parts are painted. Right now I also have the vest almost done, just needs all the holes done for the side lacing. My undersuit is pretty much done it just needed to be taken in a bit. As far as the skirt goes I have most of the squares cut then off to dye and lacing. Oh and the holster is done too. So pretty much it's bits and pieces that all have to come together to get this costume finished. I was told that this is a difficult, time consuming and expensive costume to do and that's 100% true! lol

Here's a couple of pics.

I completely agree with F4R. I have always had massive amounts of respect for the ladies who tackle this costume. The holster and boots look awesome.

Well, I finally got Zam done and made a test run at ConNooga. Had a fantastic time, got to meet both Boba and Jango Fett and even had Temura Morrison sign the brim of the helmet.....awesome!!

Just have a couple of things to repair now then I will submit for approval.
