I'll call the machinist tomorrow to get a final quote based on the number of people so hopefully he'll be able to get that back to me right away and I can post that tomorrow afternoon.

    Moncal,

Does this price include the resin kit to go with it? As I don't really want to pull apart the one we've got so far. I may sell that to help fund this baby see.

....and I'm after the hollow design please dude

Sorry to be a pain but I keep getting clobbered with UK tax customs charges so I'll pull out of this one.
Move TK2542 on instead but I will still have the resin one as Becky is going to try and make one herself, LOL

    Go girl!

hey cal whereas i have one of your blasters, can i hollow out the handle enough myslef to fit the needed electronics or is it something that will need to come in two halves, which the elctronics will be fitting into one half and then glued together?

also when would you need the payment by?

I believe I will need to make the handle in two halves to allow access for placing the speaker, batteries, switch, wires etc.

You could possibly cut it in half yourself and hollow it out but I would need it for hyperdyne to do the installation probably.

As for payment. As soon as possible would be great. Based on past experience I am sure he will start the run with half of the total for all 18 pieces paid upfront but I won't be able to pick up the blasters until the total balance is paid for.

8 more payments and we can get the machinist going

I might get him started if I can get a couple more payments and I'll cover the rest but I don't want to be stuck with a bunch of these.

Well, I'm not sure what to do. One person has definitely asked to be removed from the list but I haven't heard from 3 others.

If I drop the run down to 16 it will raise the price for each of us. I could leave it at 20 but I would have to cover the cost and be stuck with extra blasters.

Well... we all knew that the price was tentative depending upon how many of us signed up. You shouldn't have to pay for that. Just my opinion.

You can use the money and put out a contract on the no-pays!

Sorry that you had to take a hit on some of these. Hopefully you shouldn't have a problem selling them.

Well.. it's not too bad if I only have to cover the cost of a few of them. I'm sure I can sell them in the future. There will be zammers for years to come. All the girls still have to grow up and will hopefully cross paths with the 501st or something to reel them in ... I know that's what the 501st did to me when I saw my first stormtrooper costume!
