Imperial Knight Colours

One of the reasons I joined this site was to help my Turkish friends who want to make a Zam costume. Some of them don't speak English well or at all. The other reason was to research a costume project of my own: Jal Shey Armour in Imperial Knight colours. This armour is from Knights of the Old Republic 2 The Sith Lords. Jal Shey armour is what Zam wears. I found a mod for the game that gives you Imperial Knight colours. I like it, so when I have time I want to make it:



I think the armour in this pic is actually Zeison Sha. Similar to Jal Shey but with a cloth skirt instead of leather pieces. If and when I get started on this I'll keep you all informed.

Just one question about the skirt - do the top squares overlap the bottom ones like tiles on a roof, or do the bottom squares overlap the top ones? The former sounds better to me.

Hmmm.. I see some similarities with a Zam costume... but Zam's stuff is supposed to be Mabari (I think?) Maybe she modified it...?

Anyway, to answer your question about the skirt... the skirt squares overlap from the bottom up (bottom squares overlap the squares above ). I know it doesn't sound right.. but if you look at the Reference Photos, you'll see.
