Ok guys and gals... the suggestion for the black interior of the cuff was black leather with foam... what do you all think?

Any other suggestions for the outter cuff components? I already have my ideas, but let's here yours...

The interior of the cuff looks redish to me.. like the interior of the veil. I'd say it has a foam filling with leather for finish.
sorry, clarification MM- I meant the black part in the oval on the side of the cuff with what looks like ridges- I actually think it's foam underneath black leather.

Hmmm... that looked like wire mesh tubing or woven aluminum, or something along those lines... I've seen stuff that looked like it at Home Depot before ...with some dark paint added.
I thought so too, until i saw some X-men suits on the RPF and thought that the ribbing on the side might have been leather. Any body with pics of anything that would come close?
Thanks for noticing the different colored inside though, Cause technically that tells me it was originally leather that color, but they painted the outside of the cuff to match the other colors of her costume.

Actually, i saw them in person at Farpoint last year, sorry no pics. My hubby's vader is like a padded leather strip pattern too. I could totally see that happening for the inner cuff.
