Congratulations Yvonne :cheers . Good to see all of you doing well.

Guess there must be something in the water at the moment;)

Yeah, tell me about it, 1/3 of our garrison were preggers or had babies this year.. That's a heck'a'lot of lil' peeps!

Thank you all for your congrats and well wishes, he's definately a pooper trooper... His little trooper onesie was a present thanks to TK-4281 ::) He fits into Zam I Aint's 45% scale vader helm too. We have pics and will post sometime on tatertot's blog :)

Hi guys, I know that I have been slacking on getting a lot done, mostly because my computer, but these next two weeks, I definately will NOT be able to concentrate on much Zam stuff AT ALL especially pm's or emails, because I have so much to do. Fixing more comp stuff, Tatertot's b-day, our anniversary, doc appts, mommy group, house estimates, monkey estimates, etc. I am sorry I didn't get the actual $ amount on the neoprene run yet. I was waiting for everyone to give me their info so that I could get a better grip on how solid they were on the list. When people bail I have to reconfigure a whole entire spreadsheet, in excel- which I have to re-install, because my comp got wiped out. This is how much of a mess I have comp wize. It's not as simple as it seems to get myself zammified. I have to re-do 2 years worth of comp work in a smaller amount of time just to get stuff hashed. For example I can only get 15 minutes of comp fixing in before tatertot needs all my attention again. I don't know how people with a job and with kids that are between 1-3 get ANY costuming work done. It's crazy. They must have super-spouse or something.

No... it simply takes us 4 years to get 1/2 a Zam done! :cry

Even when the kid is older, there is still work, school, after school stuff, homework, baseball (or other appropriate time consuming sport), family stuff, church stuff, housework, cooking, etc. I thought I'd get further along this summer ... HA! :facepalm SuperSpouse???? Don't get me started! :facepalm

*hugs ZIA* Everything will work out .... Even those blasted Monkey Estimates! :)

wow~ I found this thread. And guess whot? Another is on it's way... and just as sick as my first one

Yep, preggers again. I will probably still fit into my suit next month, but maybe I should do wear my mustafar amidala to be screen accurate ;)

Well congratulations!!! (y) (y)

Must be something in the water... My friend Kim is also preggers!

Yes... you should wear the Zam (of course!!! :D ) But I think the Mustafar Amidala is great too!! A riot if you're really preggers! :D

Hope you're feeling better soon though...

wow! congrads yvonne!!! thats great...guess the zam costume is gonna be shelved again for a bit eh? hope all goes well over the next 9 months or so...

Congrats!

I know Kathy wants to join the world in procreation but life keeps putting it off but hopefully one day ...... although that may mean a permanent location on the mannequin for the zam costume.

Yeah, I am thinking of a zammannequin too. After D'c07 I really don't think I will be able to do much other than local trooping etc. So, the only other real conventions would be Shoreleave and Farpoint. Children vaccum up all the cash. I really think that DC 07 will be our last D'C. Who knows? I don't know how other people like TK409 and people with lotsa kids do it ~ building parts, going to far away cons etc, with life's major changes. I suspect their kiddies are over 4 yrs old ;) Makes a difference. I definately will have a major slow down in costuming that's fer sure. I was preggers at C3, and wore mustafar amidala. I don't think that I will have busted the gut by the end of Aug, for it to look like I am preggers. So, Zam will fit :) I am thinking about another costume non-sw related, we'll see ;)

hey ZIA..it can be done..LOL my oldest daughter is 19 and goes in the navy in two weeks...then ive got a 16 yr old boy, 13 year old girl, 9 year old girl, 3 year old girl and a 1 year old boy...

see you at DCON!!!

Well.. it's not like you have to give up Zamming forever...

Leave the kiddies at Grandma's (or other assorted relatives/friends for the weekend...) That's how you do far away cons! I'm tellin' ya! :D SW Celebration is one thing (very family oriented) but most cons aren't so family oriented IMHO.
