Another ZIA update

I talked to Yvonne (Zam I Am) tonight, and she wanted everyone to know that she misses everyone, but hasn't been able to spend much time online. Her little "bundle of joy" made for a very sick mommy in the first trimester, and isn't being nicer as they roll into the second.. So, hopefully things will start to settle down a little bit for her and we'll see her again soon. I just wanted to give you all that update for her!! So, please send as many tummy settling thoughts as you can her way!!!

Will do.... Thanks for the update... I was getting worried about her! I'm glad she's doing okay - even if she isn't feeling very well right now. Hopefully that will pass as she gets a little further along in the pregnancy. All I can say is that it won't last forever and its all worth it in the end!

Oh, I know exactly what you are going thru, Zia! I just started my third tri and it's awful But our little ones are worth it in the end! Just rest and take it easy and good things for you and your family.

finally, some of the all-day (totally incorrectly deemed morning sickness) nausia has decreased, but I got a really bad cold. I am technically at 16 weeks right now! I really popped out this past week... 1 more month and I will know if it's a boy or a girl, and no-- no twins LOL.

Ahhh yes.... the inaptly named "morning sickness" Hah! I was nauseous for the whole 10 months! (40 weeks means 10 months in my book!) Glad to hear you're doing better in that department... now just get over that cold! BTW - you're not gonna believe how BIG you're gonna get! *mwhaahahahaa!*

But it's all worth it in the end... you're going to have a beautiful baby!

I am doing better now that I am in second trimester, in fact I get to find out if my youngling is a boy or girl today!!! woohoo!!! unless, it decides to hide.

Bwhahaha, my little rascal was showing all his goods! The tatertot is a rooster! (Chinese year of the chicken) Yep, he was kickin on the monitor, and I was like... I felt that!!! We have several sonograms, but too tired to post em up right now. Will do sometime later

I just wish we knew what ours was gonna be. It wouldn't ever turn right on the ultrasound. Guess we find out in June.

I know I owe people things, several emails, etc. Sorry for not posting or emailing back. But life situations have really taken us through major roller coasters that we can't avoid. Thanks for being patient. All I want to say is, please pray for my family's health at this time.

I was going to hold off on the SW stuff on my boys too when they were born but I have so much stuff that IS SW that they just fell in love with it from the beginning.
I am excited for the both of you. I think the best part is the day when you finally get to meet your son face to face after it being a mystery for 9 months.

Yvonne, you and your family (including the "Tater-Tot" ) are also always in my prayers. I understand about being on that roller coaster - some of those dips are doozies! Just know you've got family here thinking of you and praying for you!

Actually, it's my dad and my aunt. My dad almost died due to asphyxiation and infection, and my aunt has tuberculosis. My dad is stable now. It's just crazy cause we were all scared about contagiousness. But all is ok, my aunt is quarantined and my mom didn't get it or pass it to any of us. God was really looking out for us. I had prayed and I really got this overwhelming feeling etc... that I should yell/beg/whatever and tell mom not to goto China (because of sicknesses over there) with my Aunt, so she minimized the visit to mostly Hong Kong, and she didn't catch the tuberculosis from my aunt with their travels. If my dad would have gotten infected, he would have definately died in his weak condition. I am sooo glad that my aunt didn't come to my birthday on Saturday the 7th either. HOLY MOLEY... Our whole 501st garrison was there. Thank you most definately for your prayers yalls...

Hi guys and gals, I know this is supposed to be Sarlacc stuff, but I thought I would post here, cause well, I miss all yall zammers the most. I have been so entirely busy, I went into - gasp - motherhood mode. What? No Star Wars?!?! you say? yeah, I needed a thematic break. I have still been finishing with the shipping off the lower armour though. Anyways, I might return to Zamming and finishing off my stuff, if tatertot allows me some reprieve. But, I did create a blog, so that all of you could see what we did for the baby's room. I am very proud of our work, especially the mural. We did it using the projector method. I know one of our friends used this method for a wall painting of a trooper in his home. Anyways, here's the blog, tell me what ya think I am due August 26th.

... LOL Yeah after 17 hours straight painting, my husband got a little fustrated and just bought a pooh sticker for the other walls that were BARE. Talk about burn out and glutton for punishment.

Yeah, I am thinking of a zammannequin too. After D'c07 I really don't think I will be able to do much other than local trooping etc. So, the only other real conventions would be Shoreleave and Farpoint. Children vaccum up all the cash. I really think that DC 07 will be our last D'C. Who knows? I don't know how other people like TK409 and people with lotsa kids do it ~ building parts, going to far away cons etc, with life's major changes. I suspect their kiddies are over 4 yrs old Makes a difference. I definately will have a major slow down in costuming that's fer sure. I was preggers at C3, and wore mustafar amidala. I don't think that I will have busted the gut by the end of Aug, for it to look like I am preggers. So, Zam will fit I am thinking about another costume non-sw related, we'll see

Leave the kiddies at Grandma's (or other assorted relatives/friends for the weekend...) That's how you do far away cons! I'm tellin' ya! SW Celebration is one thing (very family oriented) but most cons aren't so family oriented IMHO.

Yep, gotta hate d'c for that reason. Here's pics of us at shoreleave yesterday - non zamming stuff though. We won 2 plaques altogether. Tatertot won one in the young scifi fan division And our skit won 3rd in scifi.
