I know these have been done before... But I have a local machinist I have talked to about machining metal westars... He said they would be no problem and quoted me at about $350 a pair... I just wanted to see if there was any interest before I pursue for multiple ones (although I will probably still get some for myself regardless)

would they made out of aluminum? this sounds awesome! even though not a jango costumer, yet, i would consider a set...
Yeah, polished aluminum is what he said... Since steel is very pricey right now... And they'll be lighter.
well, I'm in if it can be done. I only act this way because we've seen these threads before. Good luck with it and if it happens I'd love to have a set.
