Beautiful!!! they have my old helmet!:lol
oh no...not again a new helmet project! :lol
BTW: interesting that the rope belt seems to be cross-bindet together with that white piece of rope... well, there goes the screen-accuracy again ;)
Wonder if this would get you into the 501st?
The dent was more than likely suffered post-mortem. Your head would be dented too if Mace Windu cut it off and it bounced around a little.
Wow! That is too cool!
@Sean Solo: Good guess, but as far as I know it's the dent from the Kamino scene, where Jango hit his head while going aboard Slave I. In the Geonosis Battle Scenes he already has this dent.
Yeah the dent happened sometime on Kamino. There are disagreements as to what exactly caused it, but it was present during the battle on geonosis.
Niiice. Hmmm. Should I be jealous that you bumped into this awesome costume or that you were vacationing in Paris? Either way you win. :)
Interesting that they have two suits on display at the same time. I assume the one on display at FIDM is the primary hero suit. This one in paris must either be one of the other two hero suits or one of the stunt suits.
It was more of a joke than a serious observation. ;) :jangoQuote:

Woah thats too freaking cool! Nice find Mirax!
That looks awesome. I had actually thought about adding the dent to my helmet.
Xantok
Well, I am hoping to get to go to LA as well- will be interesting to have pictures of both suits to compare. They also had a Slave Leia there which is also on display in LA so I will also get to see both of those suits. Interesting that no one has commented on the ARENA JET PACK!!! And the sweet thing is that I was able to get awesome back shots of the suit!!! I will eventually make the pictures available in a high res version. Will be a bit before I get around to it but I certainly do plan to make them available :)
Wow!
The "Sniffer" admires your fabulous find. Paris is a very Romantic place too. It is the perfume capital of the world!
I just thought this was cool, you managed to get almost the exact same angle on this shot, making a neat comparison:
Cool pictures... I still want to know if the intent of the dent was to explain away Boba's dent (just thinking people wouldn't be as anal as us in questioning the placement of it) or if its still supposed to be viewed as a different bucket entireley.
My vote has always been that its supposed to be the same bucket and the prop builders simply aren't as interested in accuracy as some of us fans.
Mirax Thanks for posting the pics..I'm looking forward to seeing more. Nice shots of the back of the costume, I've not seen pictures as good at that angle ever, keep em' coming. Looks like I need to make some changes to my Girth belt again.

:jango OUCH! :doh ..Did this happened in Paris?.
It looks pretty cool though//hehe. :skull
The dent? It happened in AOTC.
Thanx a lot Mirax!
As there is no expiring date given and it started just the 18th october I guess I will be lucky to visit it over christmas. :) :) :) :) :) :)
It actually ends in August 2006
Now that has to be a treat!!! A trip to Paris plus Star Wars...
i'll be in paris this spring...thanks for posting about the exhibit! it will be fantastic to see, and will give an extra super-duper aspect to my master's thesis!
:skull
I just happened to be watching AOTC yesterday doing some research for a costume and noticed the dent when Jango is fighting Obi Wan on the landing platform in the rain.
You can esp. see it when he lets go of Obi wan from the wrist repeller or what ever that is, right after he loses his jet pack. Just an observation, I was kinda of surprised to see it myself.
Very cool to have all these out and about on display.
What a great trip, Paris and Star Wars!!
It would be fun if we could get a large group out to LA. before it closes
TY for Pics -------
So...the real bucket is metal? Thats Awsome!
-Carson
Eh? What makes you think it's metal?
Just an assumption.:D It is metal, Is'nt it? I don't know much about Jango.
I saw the AoSW exhibit in Japan a while back, but was too busy drooling over the Boba Fett armor to notice any dents on Jango's helmet.
I like that seal around the bottom part of the helmet. Hadn't seen that before. Anybody here have anything like that on your helmets?
I never noticed how not-shiney the dented helmet is. It is really dirty and dull.
