Hi all, here are my updated knees. I have a little more weathering to do, but it's working out nicely for the Jango knees I want to do.

I hope he does another run of those. I thought he was thinking about it? Were ya BKBT?

There will be another run of those knees. I have bought his molds and I will be doing a run. I am hoping the first week of July. If you think you would like a set, please PM me and put "Jango Knee Interest" in the subject.

I'm glad that these will be going to good use. I simply don't have as much time to devote to this hobby as I used to & it seemed like a shame to have these sitting collecting dust!

I know I plan on going to Asoks house and helping him so I can get ahold of some of the armor! hope it turns out ok once we have a few beers :cheers

Nice knee armors Kivas. I was wondering what the heck was up with the colors until I remembered you were doing an Open Seasons Jango. I'm still thinking about joining you mate on the OS Jango if you don't mind. We can have a Canadian version and a Cali one!8)

Great work and can't wait to see the rest!(y)

Thanks :)

I would be very interested in seeing your version as another perspective is always a good thing.

I am getting close to completion, I am having a minor issue with my jumpsuit (as in color)
Believe it or not I chose to go the SFP route and took a chance, lemme tell ya from payment date to my door was literally no more than 10 days... I was supremly impressed.
The color was is more blue than I thought it would be, so I need to fade it.. and possibly add a grey tone to it. Although I am not sure how to fade it at this point. I've run it through the wash a couple times so far.

If it were me(and this is what I did with my jumpsuit), I'd wash it with a quarter cup of bleach and then dye it with some Rit grey dye. If the bleach has very little or no effect on lightening the jumpsuit, then at least you'll know it is a polyester blend and will not lighten and may not take any dye. Some people have said to stay away from bleach cuz it deteriorates the fabric, but if you think about it we wash our whites in bleach every week and they last for months on end. Personally I don't think one wash of very diluted bleach is going to tear anything up. Look at Rit's website to see what kind of greys they have.

Ya I thought about the bleach, but I am also concerned about an even fade job as well.
Did yours come out evenly? as in there were no blotch spots?

Mix your bleach into the wash water and let it agitate a little bit so the bleach is well mixed in. Then add tthe jumpsuit. If it fades it should fade evenly.

What's Open Seasons? Is that like Wabbit Season?

No seriously...forgive my ignorance, but of what do you speak here?

I am excited to see some open seasons stuff as this is the version of Jango that I plan on doing. So keep the pics coming and the knees look great.

Actually I used Gorilla glue. What you don't see is that after that shot I inlayed a piece of flashing, then a layer of fiberglass on top and they are rock solid.

Open Season is the comic, that show's Jango prior to Kamino and how he was recruited by Dooku. It is also shows his rise within the Mandalor's

Ya that glue is like weilding pieces together they dont come apart. What version are you doing hes seen in several suits.
