Tuskenfett jango build the long road to bh

sorry i didn't respond sooner. i polish with meguiars all metal motorcycle polish. it's meant to make chrome shine.

this stuff, though you can find it for less at walmart in the automotive section (at least, in my walmart) Meguiar's Direct All Metal Polish

also, i apply it with a cotton ball in a circular motion until it's just black, then buff it off with a mcdonalds napkin. i don't know why, but i really feel that the napkin leaves a better shine than an old shirt, or even a microfiber cloth.

@devilstar i thought there was something off and I was impatient to check out a rear shot I can get em off without damaging them

@ saintnasty the stuff I got is pretty shiney but I might pick some meguirs up to see the difference

Or kitchen paper towel, I've used heeps of it so far and works a real treat!

also started using for polishing my AP armour, havent used a clothe to polish with sinse I started using kitchen towel. It's slight abrasive texture is exactly what you need for a high shine on just about anything that can be polished.

helmet is lookin' good btw TF!

That shine is great...One thing though...your left ear cap is done in the boba style not the Jango style. You will want to lower the top section of the ear cap.

but thats an easy fit isn't it....:)

yeah and Easy fix ;)

Tuskenfett, I did the same thing the first time around which is why I noticed it. I used gorilla glue and was able to slide a thin blade under the ear cap and gently popped it off. I than sanded the extra glue down to reattach. You should be fine as long as you go slow.

acetone will eat the paint and might muck up the finish on the silver parts. so proceed with caution when using that. sandysith's recommendation of using an exacto blade to gently pry will probably be your best bet. just take your time and go slow.

or if you're in a hurry, just use the rf stalk and pry that sucker right off.

but seriously, don't do that.

It's easy to see how he did that though... It looks like that's how its supposed to go on. I wonder why it's like that? Preproduction goof on the movie prop? It doesn't make sense (the gap being there when the ear is placed 'correctly').
