Fortunately I was wearing clothes...Demonchild said:
Sorry I haven't updated this in a while. I've just been touching up the blues and fixing a couple of scratches (mostly the scuffed areas on the back). There's no noticeable difference in any of the pictures I've taken lately. I'll be putting the final clearcoat on this one tonight and then final assembly (visor, rf stalk, neckseal, etc.) will be done over the weekend.
Then it goes on the wall with the rest of the collection and I can get back to the jet pack, the EpII Clone helmet, the Deepeyes helmet, the Boba costume details, and brainstorming something new to wear for Halloween. I'm thinking about a raw sculpt of the Republic Commando armor...
RC armor wold rock, not many of those (hardly any, maybe 1 or 2 that i have seen) and did you get your Deepeyes helmet from NA? Anyways, that bucket is looking SO sweet dude! You should be mighty proud! Great work!
Wow . . . .
Your helmet makes me look like a Disney Character.
You did an awesome job.
Jet Pack rocks too!
I AM SO JELLOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DID U MAKE THE HELMET OR BUY IT AND REPAINTED IT
Hi Jangobobbafett, welcome to the forum. In answer to your question here's a quote from his post:
"I'm not sure where the helmet originated (I got if off of ebay) so if anyone knows where I can find another one like it, let me
i want to make a jango costume but i cant man i should finish my cgalactic marine costume and my DC-15 blaster
i will probably sell the Galactic Marine costume when i finish it
Don't bother finishing it, just sell the stuff right away and get straight on with the JangoJangobobbafett said:
yeah your right but i have come this far and stop i need the helmet backpak skirt chest plate and gauntlet
Sorry I haven't posted to this thread lately. I've nearly finished putting the bucket together. I messed up the clear coat a bit, so the finish is a little hazy. and the rangefinder earcap needs a little attention.
Man, you forgot the two head lines
yeah i just noticed that to
I haven't forgotten them, I'm just not sure if I want to put them on right now or sand down the clearcoat and try for a better finish. I've still got some small things to work out on the inside as well.
oph my god, sweet jesus! i just screamed very loudly when i saw this, oh god ho god ho god, that is AMAZING!! RUBB and BUFF? whats that? lol screw this, im buying some chrome paint like you!
Rub n Buff is a wee bit cheaper though. Still, that helmet is pretty darn pimp!thunderbolt said:
Nice job on the bucket!
Have you finished the pinstriping yet?...
I stand by the rub'n'buff method personally, as its great for re-touching up again anytime and weathering on top off...
The silver RnB has a nice aged metal finish to it too i think...
(Not trying to hijack your thread, just show a Rub'n'Buff comparison)

I really like this pic the most cause it was supper SHINEYthorssoli said:
Here's a metric butt-ton of pics. They should be pretty self explanatory. These include the velcro-in neckseal at the bottom of the helmet.
The fan is mounted inside the left side of the helmet with an on/off switch at the edge so you can reach it without opening the neckseal.
The pinstripes are 1/8" adhesive pinstriping available at any auto supply shop. I didn't feel like rolling the dice by doing the pinstriping by hand.
I mostly feel like I'm done with this one. I may still cover the wiring inside the helmet and black out the epoxy putty I used to hold the fan, switch, and visor in place. I don't think anybody will ever see them though.
nice work man
Thats pretty gangster man! You gotta weather it a bit but other than that hot damn that thing is great!
but that will mess up the chrome
man if u sell that on ebay then u will make alot of money
I just wanted to show this off too. I painted the whole car with the same chrome paint as my Jango helmet. Once I hang the front bumper back on it I'm considering putting a couple of blue racing stripes on it. Then if I finish the rest of the Jango costume, I'll have a car that matches it.
Maybe I've already taken it too far.
Sweet man, that car rocks.
HHHMMMM.....maybe I should do that to my motorbike.
is that a corvette
That car looks so sweet man! That thing will look like a bullet when your done with it! Great job!
