Super Shiny Jango Bucket Progress Pics

Thats a sweet paint job.

Guro (from japan!) has a great chromed trooper helmet. After I saw his I was thinking about using this very product you used to do my own chromed ANH helmet. But I gotta finish my ESB fett helmet first! Wait a minute... what respectable prop enthusiast has only ONE project going at a time!!! sheesh!

Fortunately I was wearing clothes...

Sorry I haven't updated this in a while. I've just been touching up the blues and fixing a couple of scratches (mostly the scuffed areas on the back). There's no noticeable difference in any of the pictures I've taken lately. I'll be putting the final clearcoat on this one tonight and then final assembly (visor, rf stalk, neckseal, etc.) will be done over the weekend.

Then it goes on the wall with the rest of the collection and I can get back to the jet pack, the EpII Clone helmet, the Deepeyes helmet, the Boba costume details, and brainstorming something new to wear for Halloween. I'm thinking about a raw sculpt of the Republic Commando armor...

RC armor wold rock, not many of those (hardly any, maybe 1 or 2 that i have seen) and did you get your Deepeyes helmet from NA? Anyways, that bucket is looking SO sweet dude! You should be mighty proud! Great work!

Hi Jangobobbafett, welcome to the forum. In answer to your question here's a quote from his post:
"I'm not sure where the helmet originated (I got if off of ebay) so if anyone knows where I can find another one like it, let me
know."

Don't bother finishing it, just sell the stuff right away and get straight on with the Jango ;)

Sorry I haven't posted to this thread lately. I've nearly finished putting the bucket together. I messed up the clear coat a bit, so the finish is a little hazy. and the rangefinder earcap needs a little attention.

I haven't forgotten them, I'm just not sure if I want to put them on right now or sand down the clearcoat and try for a better finish. I've still got some small things to work out on the inside as well.

Rub n Buff is a wee bit cheaper though. Still, that helmet is pretty darn pimp!
