Starting -> JangoUri Costume v 2.0 (Heavy Pics)

Hey, well, after 2 months of relax since my first Jango Costume, Now I´ve begun making the 2.0 version.

The first Step is rub n buffing some parts wich Im not going to change, like the cod piece and the Knee armor.

Here are few shots of the already rub n buffed Knee armor:

    With Flash:

    Without Flash:

Few shots of the finished rub n buffed cod piece:

Now I just have to weather them with the paints that the buddy Cruzer picked me
    up.

And well... This time i´ll troop with my love Westar from MR

I will line the holsters inside with some kind of brown cotton to try to get the minor possible scratches to my blasters.

Now, I´m waiting my JD armor and.... Also a BKBT Helmet

    Thanks buddies

    Good job.

It takes some work to get the SFP knees to look good.

*drools* The MR Westars. My holy grail. I had a chance to snag a set for about 200 bucks earlier this year but I was flat broke.

Looks really good, the rub-n-buff makes the pieces look like real metal. Can't wait to see your progress on the rest of the suit.

Skalen, every time I see your avatar, that Viper helmet makes me so crazy! I love that thing!

It belongs to a friend of mine who was very lucky to come across it. It is acutally one of the original props used on the tv series. It's really cool to see how it lights up. There's a small blue box that houses all the electronics which powers the tiny light bulbs around the face of the helmet. They still light up with the flip of a switch.

I was captivated by all of your artistic seriousness until you threw me for a loop with the last pics. They were the best! But the rest is looking nice, can't wait to see it all put together.
Those are the best Jango gloves I have ever seen!!!

Bountys Hunted is the U.S. contact for MLC out of the UK. So that means you are a proud owner of the great MLC ultralight fiberglass Jango arena jet pack. Congrats.

Ok, T-Visor already Cut. There´s almost no depth (just as i wanted). Now I just have to cut the bottom´s visor, sand some helmet parts and fill some gaps.

Looking really good! If I may recommend something. I still need to do this to my Jango and it bugs the heck out of me that I didn't catch it before. I didn't trim the bottoms of my shin armor pieces shorter with an upward curve so that they didn't hang over my boot armor pieces. Check your image references to see what I mean. Before you sew on any velcro or make your attachment system, make sure that your shin armor will sit nicely over your shin allowing a little bit of space between it and the boot armor. I'm 6 feet tall and even then my shin armor was still too long after trimming the excess material from the pulls. This is a common mistake among us Jangos. One of these days I'll get around to finishing the details on mine.

It's all looking good man! I'm in the middle of putting together a BKBT helmet myself, I can only hope that my visor will look as good as yours when it's in. The weathering to your pouches and holsters makes a big time difference-nice job on that Keep us posted.

BKBT with a temporally installed T-Visor

Now I have to R&B and weather it.

    Hope you like the progress

By the way man of war, I sent you a PM about your gauntlets some weeks ago because I need a pair.

    Hey JangoUri

Love what your doing my friend...looks great !

That version boot you have is becoming more and more difficult to dig-up !

You might have better luck if you open the gym door and walk in, hitting will just bruse your hands.

JangoUri, this is going to look awesome when finished! Great job on all the peices so far! Where'd you get the leather for the vest? I've been looking around online at garment leathers, but I'm not sure which kind is best.

    Thanks, and keep us posted!
