Started on my jango lid

So far ive goten rid of the seems and i use that sanding method from 240 all the way to 1800 grit plus every grand in between its the only way to go imo there wre a couple and i do mean only 2 small bubles that exposed the purple rebound coat , andim going to use a simler method to your glue powder but instead of glue ill use a dab of procast its aa 2 part polyurethane resin mixed with aluiminium powda
 
Well after much procrastonation a hole DSC03941.JPGof difrent blue spray paints and many other projects i am workin on i desided to nock this puppy over this is were im at right now just put the spipeson these are 3 ml DSC03943.JPGstripings witch is just a hair thiner than the impirial system mesurement pin stipping that came with this gem i personaly think this is a closser adaptation to the pin stripping that is seen in the film thats just my opinion i also purchassed 17 difrent blue sprays to find the closest coloursDSC03940.JPG Id like to know what sopme jango experts think of my work so far , Thanx
 
They look good, especially the lighter blue. I would take a pic out in sunlight to get a good idea of how it looks in bright daylight. Keep up the good work. (y)

hope you dont mind me hijacking your thread, I also had some colours made up off some samples Cruzer sent me! I'm really happy with the light blue but the darker royal blue didnt come out dark enough

I had two options when picking the royal blue off the colour chart, trust me to pick the wrong one! :(
 
YEAH iused belton RAL-5007 AND BELTON RAL 5015 At first when i put the darker colour on it looked to soft and just wrong but once i took the tape of i walla was pretty happy and the finish is amazing from beltons when done right so after puting a wash of waterd dowm black guache then letting it dry then wipe it of and then repeated prosses witha mix of green blue a smidge of raw umber and washed it over the dark blue only thn let it dry and dabed it of it looks perfect ill put some pics up when i get new batteris for my camra,,
WERS if you like i can tell you were to get the colours the darkblue does look a little to well blue , and dammmm you must have polished the bagebers out of that puppy to get it that shinny (was it you i sent a list of paint shops? what colours did you use in my oppinion i think the genrall consenses on the colours is a little of now thats just my thorts not saying any one did it rong or that i did it better i have just seen alot of very ation in the blues and the pin stripping th
