From Spain, Finally... Jango is complete!

Hi everyone!!


For long years (4 1/2 since my helmet arrived home), I finished my Jango Fett costume.


I'm Talon Karrde (BH3702) and I'm a member of the mighty Spanish Garrison. Here are some pictures for you, waiting for my first mission as Jango Fett.




I know maybe the armor shows a bit "clean", but it's by the Flash of the camera (although, I'm weathering a little bit more right now).

Looks great Bro! Im thinking of doing a Jango myself in the near future. One of the few pre-quel characters i really wouldnt mind portraying great job brother!

Congrats your kit looks great. It is a ton of work to get this point and you should be proud.


I would offer two small critiques. Raise your jetpack up, Jango's jetpack sits high on his back. And second you could trim just about an inch off the bottom of your back plate. I had to do the same on my back plate. Seeker was the one who saw it on mine and made the recommendation. The kit really does look nice though.....and you wear it well.

I remember when we spoke about your jango in construction, that was 2 years ago.... mine was finished a few months ago and I am now trying to meet the 501st level 3 certification.

The photos might not be too clear, but you still need a little bit more weathering on the front armor, flightsuit and flakjacket, other than that looks very good.

Praetorian: I'm using captures from the BD, and the armor is "more clean" than people expected (idem from the SW Exhibition), althought, at your pictures your armor shine like new

Sangarunya: te puedo ayudar, pero depende de lo que busques. Mi Casco es imposible de localizar, ya que sale directamente del molde de ilm. El resto puedo ayudarte, y así habrá otro Jango en la Spanish Garrison. Eso sí, paciencia, porque se pueden tardar años (y dinero) en tenerlo todo si lo quieres tener bien.

Mullreel: thank your for your critique (i love critics!). It's a little thing than i want to get better, rightly one inch more

Rapier2278: the flightsuit made it Ladysewforus, but I modified a couple of things (like the eyelets, and two more things to make it more screen accurate)

Ok captures from the BD, that explains it. The photos you've seen are not the latest ones, I've added some more weathering since then.

Ok. There is also an excellent book that shows the weathering in best detail in the book "Dressing a Galaxy: The costumes of SW"

My costume:
- Helmet: from mold used for the original helmet (ilm). Made with Coldcast, like the original. The same colors (verified during the Star Wars Exhibition). Painted by me.
- Armor: by Cruzer. All parts made with Coldcast, like the original costume.
- Blasters: resin painted with Rub’nBuff and acrilic painting.
- Jetpack: is a modified jetpack bought at internet. Painted by me.
- Gloves: leather blue navy.
- Vest and flightsuit: by ladysewforus (but modified by me). Eyelets included, like the original
- Boots: like the original Keneth Cole. By Crow62 (a lot of problems with him). Snaps included
- Leather belts: by Cruzer.
