Son's Jango with pics but missing gauntlets

New Hunter
For Halloween, I finished my son's Jango Fett. I was supposed to finish it last year but got sidetracked. We did not get the gauntlets from Cruzer in time but we just got them and will finish them soon and have to take some more pics. The vest, jumpsuit, belt and holsters I got from Evolution Toys. The armor I got from TK2280 on here. The helmet is Rubies. I made the girth belt with some leather bolo from MJ Trimming and I found the boots on ebay(tough as he is only 10.5 but wears a mens' 9 already). The gloves are the Target ones from last year. The jetpack was made by someone and purchased on ebay too. The guns are the toy ones I painted the blue parts silver.

Very cool! Sorry for the delay in the gauntlets. Keep up the good work, mom. By the way, how tall is he?(y)(y)

Looks pretty sweet! I'm sure that your son will love you forever for making that costume for him.

Seems like there are more and more kids donning armor... hmmmm... looks like I'll have to get off my tuckus and get going on my scale project. :jetpack

Thanks for the compliments. It really helps to have TDH devoted to getting something like this together. Cruzer, he is about 5'2"-5'3" and he just turned 11 on Sunday. He is gonna have a great time wearing this at CV(he is so excited).

Your son's Jango looks great! My and I are also starting to work on a Jango. Do you mind if I ask you how you made the girth belt? and what kind of store is MJ trimming?

Tuksido, MJ Trimming is a trim store that is in NYC but they sell tons of stuff online. I used this stuff here: http://www.mjtrim.com/catalog/product/330/15872/15872.aspx and I got the 6mm Red Brown stuff. I just ordered the 25 yd roll as I was not sure how much to buy(plus if I need to make another). I had some brown pleather that I covered over the ends and used some velcro. I did also put a strip in the middle to hold all those rows neatly. I just used hot glue to put it all together except for the velcro which was self stick and was industrial strength.
