So say you wanted to make the best, most Prop Accurate Jango possible...

    Which makers would you choose?

I Currently have 6 Approved 501st costumes, all of which I tried to source the best, most prop accurate parts possible. I did not just want a "good enough" costume, I want to look as close to screen accurate as I can. With a TK/TD its easy, TM or RS Propmasters are the best, with Darth Vader its a little harder as there is no single maker, but still very accurate parts are fairly easy to source.

So being new to the Jango world (I had previously planned on doing an ESB Boba Fett, but my Local area has a GREAT Fett, so I have switched gears) What makers would you recomend for the most prop accurate build you could do?

keeping in mind a wait of over a year for parts is not something I am interested in. I do not expect to have them next week but 12+ months is just too long.

I'd love to see what everyone considers the best/worst suppliers out there.

    thanks!

Cruzer makes great armor, gaunts, helmets, and holsters. Seeker makes a great ammo belt. Ladysewforus/Arkady make great flight suits. Asok also makes a great helmet. Manofwar makes a great jet pack. I hope that helps.

Man of war makes great jet packs, but I also have now done the RS Props jet packs. They were extremely well done also.

The choice between the two for me would come down to your size. The MOW pack is a bit larger than the RS Props pack.

I used complete Cruzer armor and gaunts. Seeker ammo belt. Cruzer holsters. Asok helmet. Ladysewforus flight suit and leather flak vest. Seeker jet pack harness.

Although I think my list is a top of the line list, Bobamaker also makes some really nice parts. I have seen a BM flak vest side by side with my LSFU vest and I would say they are very comparable.

I have some WIP threads where you can see all of the parts assembled.

I agree with Mulreel on your size. For instance the Jango helmet that I offer is great for those that are 5'8" or below. Maybe a little taller if you are very thin. I think that Animefan's helmet might be a little larger than mine if I'm correct.

Let me know if I can answer any questions for you. Having trooped with Bill a lot over the years with him in his Jango, I've been around the costume a lot.

Take a look here: there's a list, where i've ordered my parts:

You can also get a jetpack from RS Props-it's a bit smaller than the MOW-Jetpack.

    Thanks for the replies all.

I have been away on vacation and just got back and am sorting through BobaMaker and Cruzer pricelists etc.

Unfortunately LadySewForUS is no longer taking orders.

I already have a coldcast ASOK Jango lid, that sorta kickstarted this project.

Hopefully it is not too small on my 6 foot one 230 pound frame. Because it is a Great helmet.

    Thanks again!
