screw in rangefinder stalk

What size screw do you use for the stalk? I was checking mine at the office and it looks small. Thanks.

i just goto ace hardware with the stalk and find a flathead machine screw that works

that's exactly what i do too.

I tend to use "whatever is around", usually a 1/4" flat head screw of some sort that i countersink into the stalk.
