SandySith's Jango Progress

Thanks guys for the blaster info.

Her are my quick 4 hour modified rubies white and orange toy blasters that I will have to make do with until I get better ones. They are more heavily weathered than I like but it was sooo **** humid today and i am trooping tomorrow I kinda had to put a rush job into them...I will have more time during the week to re-sand them and repaint them to give a better cleaner finish.

Yeah I made the back loop for the girth belt...just forgot to put it on for the suit up.

Believe it or not the armor is weathered...I think the flash washed it out in the pics.

Finished my 1st troop in the armor....went great...small malfunction but nothing huge and easily fixed...Definitely a new experience trooping a face character but so much fun; I could get used to it.
Just checked my Garrison Forum and it is official! I have my BH designation.

Lookin' good!

EDIT

BTW, no shame in trooping with those Rubies. Kids always wanna handle your blasters. IMO, no worries when it hits the pavement. Ah... theres the silver lining... lol... ;)

Just caught this thread..Looks great snadysith!!! Ive just begun my journey w/ jango by purchasing a bucket thru ASOK, cc upper extremity armor thru cruzer, and working on a couple other projects so im having saintnasty finish up the bucket for me. Anyhow, where did you purchase your hoses, and can you post some close up shots of the boot mod?
Great job

excellent, excellent work SS. Would you happen to have any reference pics as to how you connect your Arena jetpack? Do you just use 2 hooks towards the top or are there more because I kind of see some type of connection on the bottom

Here is my system. I have seen behind the scenes shots of a 3rd clip off the base of the jet pack that attaches to the underside of the base of the back plate...I have not done this modification but plan to in the future just to be a little more accurate.

SOOOOOO.....it has been some time since I have been on here. I caught the animated clone bug and that took up a lot of time. But now the sweet siren's song of Jango has called again. I have finally dyed my flight suit from LoneStar after having it for almost a year. I think I hit the right color a bit less purple than my first one....but I still might go back and add some purple to it later. I repositioned my holsters to hang more the the front and thusly more accurate which meant bondo work and weathering due to sealing up the old screw holes in the thighs. Still waiting on boots from Crow and finally got resin blasters. So yeah. I will need to find a solution to my vest being too large since I have lost about 4 inches around the waist but gain 4 across my chest. I really hate to get a new one cause the armor is positioned perfectly and the vest is great....any suggestions on if it would be possible to tailor the vest without ruining the armor placement. Thats it...been a long time and it is good to be back!

Could you have the sides tapered in to the waist. I know when I first got my LSFU it was a bit too wide at the bottom, I sent it back to her and she took it in.

I didn't have armor on it at the time, but it seems to me if you took in the same amount on both sides it should work.

I was thinking that or perhaps cutting out a triangle in the back and bringing it together. I finally found a local seamstress so it is more a matter of just figuring out how to do it right than doing it.

So I officially hate Jango now. I am washing out my 4th dye job because though I got a great color it was dye tied. Dye job number 5 is on tap for tomorrow.

Whats up Sandy!!! Great to see you got the jango bug again brother! I look forward to your amazing work!(y). Ill be watching this closely.
